Costco is ok with me but I prefer Sam's Club. I don't know why Costco "polices" the members at the front door and at the registers. It's imposing to say the least. I mean, why such intensity? Everybody in there is spending money. Why am I identified at the entrance AND at the register? Why are the employees at the self check out areas "hawking" over the members"? Receipts are checked at the exit door so if it's self checkout why do they INSIST on using the scanner guns for your purchase? It's SELF-CHECK OUT!! Is loss prevention not present? Did they take off too? The employees don't know where items are located. You have to stand in line at the member desk so you can ask for the location of product items after walking all over the warehouse to find it. Those who hand out samples have no idea what's in the product they're handing out. I don't know what's going on at Costco. I may just have to stick to Sam's.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a same-day delivery order placed through the Costco app and fulfilled by Instacart.
I ordered a 14K gold bracelet through the Costco app. Since this option is offered directly by Costco, I trusted that it would be safe and reliable. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
My order was marked as “delivered,” but I never received it. I live in a high-security high-rise building with cameras and controlled access. After checking with building management and reviewing the security footage, it was confirmed that no delivery driver entered the building at the time of the supposed delivery.
The proof of delivery photo shows the item left outside the building, not delivered to my door, and there was no attempt to contact me or obtain a signature. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a valuable item like gold jewelry.
I have contacted both Costco and Instacart multiple times. Each time, I am told that someone will follow up, but I have not received any calls or resolution. My refund request has been denied despite clear evidence that the item was not properly delivered.
This situation is very frustrating and unacceptable. Costco is a trusted company, and offering same-day delivery for high-value items without proper delivery procedures puts customers at serious risk.
I am requesting a full refund or a replacement for my order as soon as possible. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate the matter further.

I was in the pizza section trying to get a cup of water. From the moment our eyes met, I felt the Latina woman was being rude. Then she refused. An Asian girl handed me the cup, and the Latina woman told her she shouldn't have given it to me. I told the woman I usually get water here, and this time it was only an issue because of her. Other Costco stores provide empty cups, but she refused! She acts like she's the boss—why is she giving that Asian girl such a hard time? just a cup for water! This shopping experience at Costco was absolutely terrible.
