We are home to the largest emergency department and only level-II trauma center in the San Gabriel Valley – providing access to lifesaving emergency and trauma care 24/7. Our Family Birth Center and level-III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) give babies the safest start to life. I would give 0 stars if I could. Much like the other reviews you will read, I waited over 4 hours to be seen by a doctor after being brought in by an ambulance, despite the waiting room being nearly empty. When I finally did see a doctor, the visit lasted no more than 10 minutes, and I was not informed of the side effects or withdrawal risks of the medication I was given in the room and prescribed. If we had the choice to travel to another hospital, we would have. The building is freezing, and no one checked in during the hours we were waiting. We were in a distressing situation, and I think I honestly would have been better off not going to a medical facility at all. I would never send anyone I cared about to this hospital.

If you are a homeless drug addict you can walk around the hospital freely anywhere you want. But if you are a 6 year old boy dropping off chicken soup for your uncle who's in a room for a few days for his arm problems you cannot visit him because you will give everybody covid.

worst ER ever. My child came in crying and these people do not care. No priorities in the ER. If you came in with a cut on your finger they would see you first before a child crying. Your hospital is the worst and I see why you have so many reviews that are negative. Do your self a favor and drive to another hospital. Again worst staff ever, horrible. Can’t put into more words how horrible this place is. This place needs a major overhaul of new staff.

If I would give this hospital for this one encounter, I would. I was visiting a patient and visited the restroom in the beautiful lobby. As I was washing my hands, a hospital employee possibly a cafetería worker (wearing an appron) exited a stall and than the bathroom without washing her hands!!!! I was blown away. Even if she was in there to fix her clothes, she is touching bathroom doors, equipment.....oh yuck

Nurse Diane from the labor and delivery ward is the kindest and loving soul who truly went above and beyond to give me the utmost support and care during my delivery! She advocated for me and stood by my side during the most painful periods. She has tons of experience and amazing person in general. Even though I have known her for hours I felt like I knew her long time. She was truly amazing nurse and I cannot thank her enough my baby and I doing great and my experience at Huntington hospital was very positive because of nurse Diane.

I have had three surgeries at Huntington Hospital and feel that it is the best hospital I have ever been in. My cardiologist wants me to have an angiogram and was going to schedule it at USC Hospital in Arcadia (formerly Methodist Hospital), which is across the street from his office and less than a mile from my house. I balked at his suggestion and he asked if I would prefer Huntington Hospital. I immediately said, "Yes". He smiled and agreed. My wife, who was with me, asked if there was a difference between the hospitals? He said, "USC Hospital is a work in progress, while Huntington is a very good hospital." As a side note, Huntington offers beer and wine on its dinner menu.
