The bread for the sandwich was old, they need to serve fresh food

Whole Foods in Beverly Hills is a great market for your more important needs

Been coming to this Whole Foods for over 20 years (yes, I'm old) and I has the worst experience there today...actually the only unpleasant one. I purchased Good Pops a couple days ago and the had melted at some point and been refroze (not good). I went to exchange them and the cashier (Emily) was rude about it from the start. Just to make sure I would not end up with another box of re-frozen freezer-pops I opened the new box as I was line and it had previously melted. Then I grab another box and that one was fine. She calls over some sort of lead (Janelle) who came over with a huge attitude and being extremely disrespectful. She snaps at that I cannot be opening boxes of ice cream because now she cannot sell it. I told her she cannot sell it because they are ruined and had melted. She gives me an even bigger attitude and says she is not going to argue with me. The second box was my replacement/exchange. She was angry as soon as she walked over and I could not understand her name, as she walked away I asked Emily what her name was, he response was: It doesn't matter! I said it did to me and she rolled her eyes and said it did not and she refused to tell me. At that point some receipt was printing and I thought my exchange was complete and I walked away with my Good Pops. She yelled "She is taking them and didn't pay!" Now Janelle comes running over (even though I am like 3 feet from here) telling me I have to pay and I told her I thought they did an exchange. She informs me they did not and I have to go back to Emily and pay. I refused to because she was being disrespectful including telling me it did not matter what Janelle's name was. By now Janelle has remembered how to act and she offered to ring me up and I said okay because she was finally being respectful. I told her there was a proper way to address people and she had not done that and Emily's behavior was rude and disrespectful by nit just refusing to reveal her name but her whole attitude. Janelle doubled-down on the store policy of me not being able to open the ice cream first, saying that she "had" to tell me. I have seen people consume their entire meal while in line and NEVER seen them scolded. It is not just the rich people that deserve respect..sorry if I do not meet the typical status they are used to there. I reiterated that I was checking to make sure I would not have to return the Good Pops again and that she have apologized for the inconvenience of having to return to the store to return a defective item AND thanked me from preventing another customer from having to experience that again. Usually when you purchased expired or bad food for a grocery store they apologize. The fact that the first box I opened had previously melted was an indicted that I was justified in doing so. I guess she was fine in wasting more of my time and selling me another box of freezer-burn pops.

Janelle is such a wonderful manager she really cares about her customers.

She has a lot to deal with and handles it all with such a positive attitude and also Oscar and Jairo and Kaz are super sweet too! I wish you guys carried Room Temp Elmhurst nut milks! You only had one container of the refrigerated kind and it is a shame you don’t carry the almond milk nor any other kind of Elmhurst nut milks. Sprouts is the only market in town with them. And I prefer to go to just your store.

Un lugar pequeño pero que tiene muchas cosas y está bien surtido, lo mejor es que venden muchas cosas de proveedores locales

Small location, but it's really nice inside. Some of the aisles are a little tight, so bring your patience with you while you squeeze around other customers who seem to have zero spatial awareness.

The employees here were wonderful. Shopping here was a pleasure.

This Whole Foods is very small and has limited inventory. Has the bare minimum basics. Not a very good one, however has good parking options and it’s free to park.

The cashiers here are super nice.

But this store sold me ricotta cheese (for $3 more than a normal grocery store - same brand) that was 2 weeks expired. I called and spoke to the “manager” and he asked me what I want him to do, I told him pull the expired ricotta cheese off the floor (why is a customer telling you that?) and he acted bored and said “okay?…” and then when I asked about returning it and said I can’t come soon, can I bring the receipt next time I come, he said I can’t return it unless I bring the cheese in and if I can’t come soon (I can’t, I’m traveling next week and busy this week) he can’t help me. I called the West Hollywood location, they told me take a photo of the item and just bring the receipt next time I come.

Why do Californians want to spend way more than grocery should be. The store has retail prices like you're in a restaurant as opposed to a grocery store. And stores the way their food are always ripping you off. They're hot food is usually dried out and old

Prices are going up...above "high" were they use to be.
