Miami, 8219 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33144

Located at 8219 W Flagler St, at the major intersection of West Flagler and NW 82nd Avenue, Flagler Park Plaza is a sprawling 355,000-square-foot retail ecosystem. In a city where shopping centers often feel like mere pit stops, this plaza serves as a true "urban village" for the Fontainebleau and Flagami communities, offering a mix of heavy-hitter national retailers and deep-rooted local flavor.

The "All-In-One" Retail Powerhouse

What makes Flagler Park Plaza unique is its sheer variety of anchors. Unlike smaller neighborhood strips, this plaza functions like an open-air mall, housing everything from high-end groceries to discount fashion and fitness hubs. It is a logistical dream for Miami residents who want to avoid the "mall traffic" of nearby International Mall while still accessing major brands.

Why Flagler Park Plaza is a Neighborhood Landmark

The "Value-Hunt" Destination: This is one of the few places in Miami where you can find Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Big Lots, and Dollar Tree in the same complex. It’s a magnet for savvy shoppers looking for "finds" across apparel, home decor, and essentials.

The Michaels Creative Hub: As home to one of the region’s largest Michaels Arts & Crafts, this plaza is the unofficial headquarters for Miami’s DIY community, event planners, and local artists.

A Global Food Hall Experience: The dining here reflects Miami’s diverse palate. It features the cult-favorite Cuban Guys Restaurants, the authentic Ashoka Indian Restaurant, and the trendy Domoishi (Asian fusion), alongside staples like Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden.

The Fitness & Wellness Anchor: The massive YouFit Gyms serves as a daily community hub, making the plaza a morning-to-night destination rather than just a weekend shopping spot.

The "Navarro" Legacy: Nearby (and often associated with the trade area’s flow) is the high-volume Navarro Discount Pharmacy, a Miami institution that brings a specific "farmacia" culture to the plaza’s surroundings.

The Atmosphere

"It is a high-energy, sun-drenched crossroads where the rhythmic pace of Miami life is on full display—a place where you can grab a 'Cafecito' at a local bakery, crush a workout, and finish your grocery run all before the afternoon humidity kicks in."

The vibe is bustling, multilingual, and quintessentially Miami. With over 54,000 cars passing by daily, the plaza pulses with the energy of thousands of residents who treat it as their extended pantry and social square.

Pro-Tips for the Flagler Park Shopper

The "Karla Bakery" Hack: For an authentic local experience, stop by Karla Cuban Bakery. It’s a neighborhood favorite for traditional pastries and the perfect fuel-up before a long afternoon of browsing the aisles at Big Lots or PetSmart.

Parking Logistics: While there are over 1,660 parking spaces, the area near Publix and Michaels can get congested during peak weekend hours. Use the peripheral lots near the bank or auto centers for a stress-free entry and exit.

Electric Convenience: The plaza is situated in a tech-forward corridor; if you’re driving an EV, check the nearby Costco and Wawa (just blocks away) for high-speed charging while you tackle your shopping list.

The "One-Stop" Medical Run: With Quest Diagnostics and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses on-site, you can knock out routine health errands and eye exams without ever leaving the plaza.

I made an order online and the total was $84 and when I got my statement, they had charged me 93. I called the store today which is the 16 whoever answered the phone says that he was too busy to attend to me. I told him I had the order number he then says you can pass by on Monday or Tuesday or speak to a manager. I said you can check the order. He said he couldn’t like it’s OK I’m not going to give you any explanation. I don’t have time and it was a ninth I’m sorry $84 bill and now they charge me almost $10 more. It was a pick up so I don’t understand why they charge me $10 more every time you go there there’s a gentleman with a very bad attitude serious Like I love the food. I’m not going to say I don’t love the food but honestly lately the service has not been good.
