Miami, 300 NE 167th St, Miami, FL 33162

In the high-traffic corridor of North Miami Beach, Friendly Repairs & Tires at 300 NE 167th St lives up to its name by operating as the "friendly alternative" to the high-pressure corporate auto centers. Situated just off the Golden Glades Interchange, this shop has become a neighborhood cornerstone for drivers who value transparency, direct communication, and a "get-it-done" Miami hustle.

This location is particularly known for its specialized knowledge of the local climate’s unique toll on vehicles—from salt-air corrosion to the heat-stress that kills batteries and blisters tires.

The "Friendly" Service Standard

The Transparency Guarantee: This shop has built its reputation on a "No-Ghosting" policy. Whether it’s a simple tire patch or a complex engine diagnostic, the technicians are known for walking you into the garage to show you exactly what’s happening under your hood, ensuring you never pay for a "phantom" repair.

The "Miami Heat" Tire Strategy: They are experts in tropical tire maintenance. They don't just sell you rubber; they consult on the best compounds for South Florida’s frequent rain and scorching asphalt, ensuring your tread-life is maximized despite the punishing local conditions.

Same-Day "Pit Stop" Philosophy: Strategically positioned for the commuter, Friendly Repairs specializes in high-velocity maintenance. They have optimized their workflow for the "workday crowd," aiming to get oil changes, brake pads, and tire rotations done with a turnaround time that respects the North Miami pace.

The Neighborhood "Fix-It" Hub: Unlike major franchises that strictly follow a corporate script, the team at Friendly Repairs is known for their resourcefulness. They are the go-to for those "weird" noises or electrical gremlins that other shops might turn away, applying 25+ years of combined mechanical intuition to every job.

A Commuter’s Oasis on 167th St

Located in a prime transit hub, the shop serves as a critical support system for the thousands of residents in the North Miami Beach and Aventura areas. It’s a space where the atmosphere is unpretentious and the focus is entirely on the integrity of the machine.

The Vibe: It’s "Grit and Honesty." The shop is clean, functional, and devoid of unnecessary fluff. You aren't paying for a fancy latte in a waiting room; you're paying for a master technician who knows your car’s history.

If I could, I would give this place -5 stars. There is nothing friendly about this place. The boss was a thief.

I went for a simple tire replacement and he was rude and told me my card was not acceptable and would not give me my car unless I gave him $60 in cash. He did not want to give me a receipt.

He made me go to the atm in the gasoline station next door and best part is the tire is bald and had 2 screws in it (see pictures attached). Now I am stranded with a flat tire and need to buy another tire.

Highly recommend staying away from this place.

I brought my car to these guys a month ago and they still have my truck. I can’t seem to get anyone on the line to answer the phone to get my truck. I don’t have any transportation and they’re rude unsure of their own business. The business phone is disconnected. There’s no way to reach him if anyone reads this, don’t go to these people they don’t know what they’re doing. They’re very unprofessional and lazy. I wish I could do more to block people from going. I went in for Transmission and they still haven’t fixed it. I don’t understand or know when I’m going to get my truck please someone help me.
