- Just had a great experience at Avis Car Rental in Santa Barbara. Not that it's ever bad here, this location is usually one of the better ones, but this week they even outdid themselves, supplying me with a great car and OUTSTANDING customer service both at pickup and dropoff, at a reasonable rental rate. SBA Avis team, keep doing what you're doing, thanks!
- This was the easiest rental car experience. While one of us waited for our checked bag, the other went to pick up the keys at Avis with no line. We got a relatively brand new Jeep Wrangler 4xE that was extremely clean. The one thing I would have liked is being told it was a hybrid before going to the car and how to charge the car if we wanted. Otherwise it was great!

WALK-UP RENTERS
Going NORTH on Freeway 101, take the 217 Freeway towards UCSB. Take the Sandspit exit and turn right.
Going SOUTH on the 101 Freeway, exit at Fairview. Location is on Fowler Rd.
CARS: Walk through hallway, out to the parking lot for car rental parking stalls.
RETURNS: Drive past rental building around to the car rental parking lot in the back.
