Salt Lake City International Airport is located five miles northwest of downtown Salt Lake City. The airfield consists of four runways.
There are two terminals, five concourses and 71 boarding gates. Delta Air Lines, KLM and SkyWest Airlines operate from Terminal 2. All other airlines serving Salt Lake City use Terminal 1.
There is short-term parking next to the terminals. Car rental companies are located on the lower level of the garage. Long-term parking is located south and west of the terminal buildings and is served by shuttle buses. Shuttles run every five minutes.

Nice new airport! The layout seems smart. There are good places to eat and drink while you wait and plenty of televisions for sports on Sunday afternoons.

Horribly designed airport. The facilities are new and that's the saving grace but coming from DFW where the airport is so well designed, organized, and easy to travel through; SLC international airport was highly disappointing. I felt most bad for the elderly people and families with young children that had to walk the entirety of the airport just to get from one gate to another. It was really bad. If you're tracking steps, at least you'll get your days worth just trekking through this airport.

Big terminal, it's a long walk from ground transportation to the B-Gates. If someone in your party uses a cane, just grab a wheelchair and save some pain.

Nice airport. Washrooms were very clean. A variety of duty free stores and eateries once you pass security. Overall a decent airport.
