В одном только Нью-Йорке насчитывается 6211 случаев, что на 1800 больше, сказал губернатор Эндрю Куомо.
Губернатор Нью-Йорка Эндрю Куомо заявил в субботу утром, что число случаев заболевания коронавирусом в штате увеличилось более чем на 3 000 человек и в настоящее время превышает 10 000 человек.
Штат провел 45 437 тестов, сказал он, и в настоящее время в общей сложности 10 356 случаев коронавируса.
Только в Нью-Йорке зарегистрировано 6211 случаев, что на 1800 больше. Увеличение числа случаев замедляется в округе Уэстчестер, в то время как они растут на Лонг-Айленде.
По словам губернатора, уровень госпитализации в штате составляет 15 процентов от числа случаев коронавируса.
Куомо сказал, что штат ожидает, что от 40 до 80 процентов жителей Нью-Йорка будут заражены коронавирусом.
По словам Куомо, государственные чиновники тем временем "буквально прочесывают весь мир" за дополнительными медикаментами и работают над созданием временных больниц по всему штату.
