Гарсетти: Лос-Анджелес запускает крупнейшую в стране программу помощи в аренде жилья
Начиная с понедельника, арендаторы, которые не могут оплатить арендную плату из-за продолжающейся пандемии коронавируса, смогут подать заявку на временную арендную субсидию. Ожидается, что программа стоимостью 103 миллиона долларов поможет 50 000 домохозяйств.
«Это обеспечивает 2000 долларов нашим наиболее пострадавшим домохозяйствам», - сказал Гарсетти.
Чтобы иметь право, арендаторы должны жить в городе Лос-Анджелес, зарабатывать менее 80% от среднего дохода в этом районе и показать финансовое воздействие вируса.
«Неважно, являетесь ли вы гражданином, негражданином», - сказал Гарсетти. «Неважно, каков ваш статус. Каждый может подать заявку».
Заявки можно подавать онлайн с 8:00 понедельника до 23:59 пятницы.
«Это не единственная возможность подать заявку, а первый этап, поэтому не беспокойтесь, когда подадите заявку на следующей неделе», - сказал Гарсетти. «Мы хотим максимально расширить возможности этих приложений».
