The Home Depot Baltimore Dundalk #2505

(410) 631-4440
Baltimore, 6315 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224

When The Home Depot was founded in 1978, Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank had no idea how revolutionary this new “hardware store” would be for home improvement and the retail industry.

Today, we’re proud to be the world’s largest home improvement retailer. In more than 2,300 stores across North America, we aspire to excel in service – to our customers, associates, communities and shareholders. That’s what leadership means to us. That's The Home Depot difference.

Our founders' vision of one-stop shopping for the do-it-yourselfer came to fruition when they opened the first two Home Depot stores on June 22, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia. The first stores, at around 60,000 square feet each, were cavernous warehouses that dwarfed the competition and stocked 25,000 products, much more than the average hardware store at that time.

Today, The Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement retailer with approximately 475,000 orange-blooded associates and more than 2,300 stores in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The typical store today averages 105,000 square feet of indoor retail space, interconnected with an e-commerce business that offers more than one million products for the DIY customer, professional contractors, and the industry's largest installation business for the Do-It-For-Me customer.

Went in to get help unscrewing a bolt from a bracket and didn't know what to expect. So many representatives tried to help even while on their breaks. I ended up buying a new bracket, but the care and consideration given are phenomenal.

I had job with a concrete company and had to deal with this place at least twice a week. Overall, a good spot. Employees are always helpful and their inventory is always stocked.
A few tips. Monday thru Friday, early morning hours from 6 am to about 10 am the place is hectic due to all the contractors trying to get their supplies. If you need to buy your stuff in the contractor line, where Home Depot can call your customer and they can pay over the phone, be prepared to be there for a while became this line moves very slow. If you are buying whole skids of concrete or block and you need a forklift driver to load your truck, it usually helps to find a lumber employee yourself and explain to them what you need. That usually speeds up the process.
I definitely recommend this Home Depot.

I would have been writing a 1 star review if not for Brandy at the customer service desk today. She worked tirelessly to help me find another option when my online shipment had been lost in the mail (and the “online agent” told me it was successfully delivered to the store). She was extremely patient and worked through every possible solution with me, even checking the back herself. Beyond grateful for your assistance, Brandy!! Thank you!
