- Extremely overwhelming, overpriced, huge selection, but no explanation of why there were soooo many choices of things, every brand using different terminologies and similarly sounding technology with no way to compare anything, and no one offering any help. Thousands of dollars separating seemingly identical televisions with no discernable differences.
Went to Wal-Mart, bought 4 televisions (one was a 70"), 4 wall mounts, all with 3 year protection plans, for less than one TV from Best Buy. I used to be a big fan of Best Buy. It had been many years, but I was a regular customer having bought TVs, home stereo equipment, subwoofers, car stereo equipment, appliances, home computers, etc. But I definitely didn't feel like I was getting a "best" buy. Maybe I'm just out of the game, but I've been priced out of their market.
- Went in bought the Sony Bravia XR X90K 85in tv, got it and setup and it looks AMAZING!!! LOVE IT!!! Hooked my XBOX Series X, PS5 and laptop to it. Once again LOVE IT!!!
- Really bare in there. It was okay, I got what I needed. The cashier was nice but that was the only employee I talked to.
- I like this Best Buy better than the others in Bham. It just seems like the service Reps here Really know their stuff AND they EXCEL at Customer Service which is appreciated moreso these days!
- Bought office for home and student version at the store 149.99 tried to load it in my hp laptop, activation code had been used by a third party. How do I know spend countless hours live person (rare) total of 9 hrs. trying to figure out why. Microsoft went into my files, this lasted for 2.5 hours, finally gave me an email that was not mine using this code. Dispute was no avail, I am responsible for the charge anyway. Lesson learned stick with apple products.
