Absolutely phenomenal experience from beginning to end. From the wait time, billing dept., staff & physicians. Dr. Miller was phenomenal. My nurses, Jeremy & Sarah, were incredible. 10/10 would recommend

TVH has an outstanding staff of professional and caring edical professionals. Every person that was involved in my care for an afib ablation was a pleasure to meet, and easy to trust. Five Stars!

All was a great experience until discharge.
I was discharged without any pain medication. My surgery was a spinal fusion, so pain was present as I left. By the time I got home, our pharmacy was closed. My pain increased to a 10, and since it was now after hours, we were not able to contact TV hospital for meds.
I had to go to Saint Al's emergency and was admitted to Saint Al's for two days to get the pain under control.
I will not return to Treasure Valley Hospital.

I recently had total knee arthroplasty done by Dr. Holley. Everyone I encountered at TVH was pleasant and competent. Really connected with my pre-op nurse, Shauna. Great anesthesia which caused me to sleep through the procedure and has given good pain control for (now) 2 full days after. PACU nurse was very caring, post op nurse and aide in the room were good as was the PT lady. The food was delicious. I have nothing but good to say about my experience here.

I was not the patient, but my husband had gallbladder removal at Treasure Valley Hospital. Every single person we dealt with was so caring and compassionate that it made his experience as pleasant as possible. I want to give a huge shout out to Ryan, his pre-op nurse. You went above and beyond to make him feel less anxious and even took the time to check in on him after his surgery. He is still raving about you! Thank you to everyone that took such excellent care of both of us!

My husband had knee replacement surgery October 4, 2023 performed by Dr. Poole. From the onset of pre-admission by his office to the class offered by Treasure Valley Hospital (TVH), it has been a very good experience. I recommend taking the class with your spouse as it has valuable do's and dont's for pre and post surgery. Also, the staff at Dr. Poole's office was very helpful in answering my questions.
Then comes surgery day which my husband was, of course, apprehensive about. Because of Dr. Poole's expertise, all went well with the knee surgery. We can't thank Dr. Poole and TVH enough for the great care.
We also want to make mention Tina, the RN nurse, that was assigned to my husband's post care while in the hospital. His surgery was scheduled at 8 a.m. so whichever Tina (in case there are more Tina nurses at TVH) was on duty that day and watched over my husband, her care was wonderful. She was professional, kind, informative, personable and patient. She didn't make us feel rushed when we asked her questions. TVH is fortunate to have her on their staff!
Then it came time to take a walk with the assistance of a walker and tackle stairs. My husband did well but when he came back to his room, he was quite peaked as it took a lot out of him. They were getting ready to discharge him, however, Tina made sure that he was feeling better before we went home.
I also have to mention the food at TVH. The menu had many choices. For those of you who have never been to TVH, the food is prepared by Thomas Cuisine. When the food arrived, my husband kept on raving about how fresh and delicious it was. We all know hospital food is not known for its excellence so I thought he was just hungry and it was his meds talking! However, I sampled the food and it was delicious like he said. Other hospitals in the area need to offer Thomas Cuisine!
If my husband needs any other joint surgeries, we will definitely be contacting Dr. Poole who performs his surgeries at TVH. You won't be disappointed!

I needed a total hip replacement; Dr Armstrong gave me choices of hospitals to recover in. Had my surgery earlier this week.

Grateful I choose TVH. Amazing, attentive staff from their front desk personnel, the cafeteria staff, to my nurses in pre-op and post care. The meal I choose during recovery was delicious and nourishing. I went home the same day and feel like a new person. I would chose this hospital again. Thank you.

This was my “first” experience, but I have had family and friends that have experienced care at TVH. The care is superb! TVH is my choice of care whenever possible!! The providers and staff are competent, compassionate, and 100% focused on positive outcomes!

Treasure Valley Hospital is fabulous. I have had a couple surgeries there and they are always so kind and caring. If I have my choice I will never go to another hospital. They are amazing.

I've worked in healthcare all of my life until I retired. I've also been a patient multiple times. That said, the quality, expertise, and good mood of the staff at this hospital far exceed any work environment that I've ever been in. I wish that I was still working because I would quit where I was working to be an employee at this hospital.

Checking in was a breeze and the receptionists were kind and patient.
The nurses are attentive and comforting, which is nice before surgery. I’ve had 5 surgeries at TVH and every experience was very positive. Dr. Kemp performed 3 of them and Dr. Hajjar performed 2 of them. They are both amazing surgeons.
My most recent surgery was on my foot. The first 2 surgeries, the nerve block lasted 4-5 days. This time, Dr. Pierce was my anesthesiologist, and my nerve block only lasted about 24 hours. I’m disappointed about this because I’m not usually in this much pain so soon.

I loved my experience at TV Hospital in Boise. It is small and has a great ratio of patients to staff. While overnight for a heart procedure I had four nurses caring for me and they were all so accommodating, proficient, and competent in their tasks. The food was great too. If you have a choice the next time you have a procedure, think about Treasure Valley Hospital. You won't be disappointed. (I'd use the nurses' names but wont to honor their privacy)

Very friendly knowledgeable staff that made the hospital visit very pleasant and put me at ease with shoulder surgery. There was so much to know and the staff took their time and assured that I understood..

I just completed an Abdominal hernia repair surgery on 8 Nov 2023 at the Treasure Valley Hospital. The procedure from check in to discharge was a completely satisfactory experience. This was the second surgery completed at this facility. The staff were very friendly and highly professional. The sense of caring from the staff was at all times provided with a high level of professional competence. I would highly recommend this facility for medical care. I would also recommend Rhianna Menen, MD for her surgery skills and her professional and caring demeanor.
