H Mart Cambridge

Since I go to the H-Mart in Jersey all the time, I wanted to check this one out since I was in town. I noticed the prices are slightly higher at this location.

Other than that, same ol’ H-Mart :)

There’s paid parking lots behind the store. They do give parking tickets so be sure to pay using the app or get a ticket from the parking meter box. There’s also street parking as well (paid) since the parking lots they have aren’t really big.

Overall, very strong grocery store in the city. The aisles are packed, but still feels like enough space.

Produce section can get pricey, but many items that might be $$$ specialty elsewhere are about half the price here, with a far wider selection.

The kimchi selection looks great, their prepared food section is strong as always, not to mention a wealth of meal prep kits.

The meat is hideously expensive but clearly high quality. The alcohol is similarly hideously expensive, but again looks like a great selection. With a bottle of run-of-the-mill soju or makgeolli costing $7, $8, or even $10, this is their weakest point in the store. The large plastic bottles of soju are ~$30, which is understandable but clearly overpriced.

The food court is a bit limited but nonetheless still great for a city location. Ramen hit the spot, and a birthday cake from the Bakery was excellent and light.

Overall I would say this is a solid 8.7/10, certainly worthy of 5 stars though. Obviously a bit pricey as it's in a city of high-income intellectuals, but it has a great spread.

Good place to shop. There are so many delicious desserts.

Assortment for meat and other bbq is pretty comprehensive. Bring a jacket if you plan to do a long grocery run, the AC runs cold every single time I've visited.

I love this place! I’ve bought some really delicious foods here over the years. I have yet to try the ramen shop

While an otherwise great place to shop, my only nitpick is that I called in advance in the morning to ask if they will have fresh jackfruit and was given the affirmative, only to find out when I got there they never had any since they morning. I had to settle for the frozen kind.

This place has a large selection of asian goods and snacks. Certainly worth a visit if you are trying to try new things!

Always find everything I need also the food court is pretty amazing, I always get a small cake from the bakery and sometimes get sushi to order. The food is always fresh and they have a big variety to choose from.

Good place to buy groceries. But if you want to register a member, don't do it online; the system will not receive the information. You have to fill out the application at the store again.

The aisles of H Mart Cambridge are a journey through flavors. Last visit, discovered a Korean chili paste that was a game changer for my homemade stews. The array of fresh produce and the quick, helpful responses from the staff make every shopping spree here an adventure in gastronomy.
