Alexander Reznikov, DDS

Dr. Alex Reznikov grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Coming from a family of dental professionals, he naturally developed a passion for treating patients with dental needs.

After finishing his studies at the University of Illinois College of
Dentistry, he and his wife Asya moved to Milwaukee to for work. There Dr. Reznikov was able to obtain hundreds of hours of
Continuing Education.

After he and his wife found out that they were expecting their first son, they decided to move back to Chicago to be closer to home and to family, friends and the city they have always loved.

Vrushti Patel, DDS Dr. Vrushti Patel grew up in India and was a practicing dentist there. She got married and moved to the U.S. Here she completed her dental school from Howard University College of Dentistry, Washington D.C. Dr. Patel’s mission in dentistry is to provide high-quality dental care, while building long-term trust based relationships with her patients. She listens to her patients’ individual needs, and tailors the treatments based on their unique situations. Her philosophy is to help the community to stay healthy and maintain their beautiful smiles for a lifetime.

Dr. Patel is multilingual and proficient in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu.

Apart from dentistry, she enjoys creating smiles off-duty with her cooking and an amazing sense of humor.

Yazan Akkash, DMD

Dr. Yazan Akkash has completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to that he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Jordan.

Dr. Akkash’s mission is to provide high quality dental care to his patients while maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment. His top priority is to promote good oral and general health by educating patients of all ages about various dental diseases and especially focus on methods of prevention.

Dr. Akkash is dedicated to enhancing his skills and advancing his knowledge in dentistry by attending continuing education courses and workshops to ensure providing the best evidence-based treatments available. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Chicago Dental Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Akkash enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling and biking.

Absolutely love this place. I am one of those patients that has a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, however Dr. Akkash makes the experience much better. He’s very compassionate and patient with his patients. He’s very thorough when explaining your treatment plan with you as well as takes his time when performing your dental procedures. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re one of those patients with much anxiety like me.

I had a 6 month follow up cleaning scheduled on November 10th, Friday at 6:00 p.m( was asked if I could move it to 5 p.m and I accepted). I was greeted by a nice receptionist. However, enter the first step of my cleaning, the hygienist assistant or technician, did not fully conduct my cleaning. He only did the top left and right of my teeth. Did not do the bottom or the middle where my retainers are. This was the first thing I noticed was wrong. I’ve gone to many dentists in the past and they have always fully flossed my teeth. Besides that, the appointment felt rushed as in there was no bedside manner and the roughness of the cleaning. The assistant only did polishing and “flossing”. When the hygienist came, it was rough,uncomfortable, and rushed. When it was time to use the tools, each tooth was rushed and not taken with time. Again, I am referencing other dentists I’ve gone to in the past that have provided excellent cleaning. I left the dentist with the sensation of having only my teeth brushed and not the deep cleaning that I used with my insurance. I have gone to many dentists in the past, orthodontist, and have done many deep cleanings as well. Each time I have left my teeth feel extremely well taken cared of and deeply cleaned. However, this location did not live up to its high reviews. I considered this location because I am new to the area but am now concerned that I used up a deep cleaning when I didn’t receive the proper full service. I am extremely disappointed and I am hoping it is not because it was a Friday night that the deep cleaning was rushed.

I had a scheduled cleaning. When I arrived I was informed that because I did not agree to having a scaling done, the hygienist would be unable to clean my teeth. I have had scalings done all of my life. I have never been refused service if I declined the scaling procedure. The cleaners that I have received from this facility have been rather intrusive, so I would not be receptive towards the scaling which goes below the gum line. I have excellent dental coverage and I felt this was due to the fact much of my dental benefit has been unused. All care one receives should be patient driven, not what another feels you should do. I felt that what I was told was biased and very unethical. I have filed a complaint and will not be returning to this facility. Patient rights need to always be respected.

The reception staff have always been very friendly, professional and respectful.

Megan is the ABSOLUTE BEST! She’s extremely consistent, thorough and efficient! I had multiple stains from my liquid chlorophyll and other herbal supplements and she cleaned my teeth PERFECTLY and removed every stain! Dr. Patel is also AWESOME! I’m so grateful for their ongoing excellence!!!

I have never had such a great experience at the dentist! from the front desk staff, to the hygienist and the dentist they were all very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable during my cleaning! The hygienist in particular made my experience very pain-free and made sure i was comfortable the whole time and took breaks if needed. i highly recommend!
