This Hmart in the NW suburbs is the closest one to me, its a really small store. The store is clean and organized though however, the smell of the seafood can sometimes be overwhelming. It also looks like they are opening their new store in Golf rd. I was told by the manager the new store will open next year. Hopefully thats the case, I'm pretty excited!
I love their packaged marinated korean beef and pork. They have small selections of side dishes and soups to go. Overall I recommend this place if you need asian grocery items.

Very good selection of meats, fish, and an extremely wide range of Korean and Asian foods.

Good corner store stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood. They have about 10 smallish shopping aisles with separate areas for fresh, frozen and butcher . They have a variety of asian products mostly rooted in Korean. They sell a little bit of everything so it's a good a idea to roam around the store your first time. You can find some amazing new type's of food if you look close enough. Some of the candies and snack's have to be tried(Mochi's).
The parking is not the best and they are a little bit hard to find, due to lack of signage. But don't let that discourage you from going. The prices are fair for quality product .

Fresh seafood, tons of spices and teas, all kinds of rice. Friendly staff.

This location is larger than it looks from the outside. For what we needed, they had a great selection. We even found some very fresh looking fruits and vegetables. The store is also clean and well organized.
