TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

Hello I have been under Dr Chan care since 8/13 and after

fighting threw this with doctor feeling so much better I've never met a doctor that really listens and cares taking time to explaining everything every step of the way. Thank you Dr. Chan!! And then they are the true hidden angels, so warm, kind, and Tiffany W.,Nayelli J,Maria, and all the others whom helped me so much. Thank you for saving my life! I will always be grateful!

This hospital was good to my son and I. He had a sudden asthma attack , in the middle of the night. The ambulance brought us to the nearest E. R. Everyone was pleasant there, from admission , the Nurse and the Doctor. The only thing that ruined it was the female security officer with the buzz cut, very rude and unprofessional . Other than that, I would gladly come back for his care!

This review is for the wound care team!

I had an accident at end of summer that resulted in an ER visit, stitches, two visits with Ortho team and two visits with wound care team. The wound care team here has the best energy! They have such positive energy. Are so helpful. I feel so welcomed and they never made me feel an inkling of shame, annoyance etc. shouts to that team! I appreciate y'all! ~ Adrienne and her knee

So the only thing that turned out good was my cardiologist Dr Patel is very thorough and very knowledgeable and very caring now that that is out of the way the ER staff is absolutely horrible a charge nurse and a male nurse named Adam all's they did all day was demoralized patients that came back through the back door and sat there and gossiped about them the charge nurse I witnessed her threatening a mental health patient then as I spoke up about her threatening a patient she told me to shut up and said I was cussing at her too and I had not said nothing all day to none of the staff but been very courteous to them this woman definitely needs to be under review and lose her job I have filed a complaint with the Illinois Medical Board of Health about this I also have this on recording I don't care if you're allowed to record or not I am going to turn it over to every news station in Chicago to show how bad the medical professionals really are and how they truly treat people on a daily basis it is about time at least one of them got caught .

I brought my partner there last night due to a severe sore throat. Your staff ran test and told him to go home and take Tylenol and Ibuprofen and gargle with salt water.. Becuse what your staff told him didn't make sense. We went and got a second opinion at another clinic this morning who gave him a Prescription amoxicillin and give him a steroid shoot treated him while he was in the office. You all should be ashamed of yourself. Who's running this horrible place. If I could rate your hospital zero I would

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff is extremely rude and everyone answers the phone as if you’re calling their personal line to inconvenience them. They act as if they don’t know anything on the phone and when I was able to speak to a nurse she lied about the care that my family member was receiving… if you can AVOID this place at all cost!

Not the best hospital you can go. It's better to try something else. It takes much time to wait the doctor.

I'm here at insight now. I took my mother there do to EXTREME stomache pains do to her gallbladder needing removal. The staff is very unprofessional, the hospital is filthy, and most of all the staff lacks care for the patient. I even assisted with helping the elderly sitdown because workers were too busy talking amongst each other. This is by far the worst hospital experience EVER. Since the name has changed from Mercy Hospital to Insight this place has been a complete failure and nightmare. Definitely will not be back.

It shouldn't be because of my comment that it was attempted for better service on my behalf. But overall, I do appreciate that they were able to be better organized and communicate within the departments to get me in and out.

Insight Hospital from start to finish, , RN's quality service. The staff is very service oriented and attentive to your needs. I visited the emergency room and was cared for by Valerie, APN, Sherelle & Megan RN's who showed genuine interest in caring for my needs and health care. This visit gave me a greater appreciation for these dedicated much needed essential workers.

Naheel, runs what I would describe a very professional operation. When you come to the office, you’re in and out. Not rushed but your appointment is very important to Naheel. One day the office was crowded, I understand sometimes things happen, the office was full of patients because there was an emergency, so appointments were backed up. Naheel personally apologized and with each patient he provided an update every 10-15 minutes. I was about an hour behind, but Naheel updated me and I was very impressed. Dr. Elakil and his staff provided ACDF Surgery on me, and again very professional and personal with me. I was pessimistic about the procedure, but Dr. Elakil, showed me (MRI) how serious my neck/spine was, and after showing and explaining to me what was going on, I left optimistic. Naheel, is truly a professional and the way he runs the office is Very Professional!

In actuality, they deserve nothing more than 0 stars. I had suffered 2 seizers prior to coming to Mercy. I arrived to the ER by way of EMT around 8:00, It took them 6+ hours to register and admit me into a room. The staff had these careless attitudes, no one actually listened to me about what was going on. Mind you, I also suffered a concussion from falling during epilepsy but it was a struggle to stay up because registration took so long. Once I was admitted, the nurse accused me of lying about what happened and he walked out. The doctor came in and to be honest he seemed a little bit inexperienced. He couldn't tell me what could have been the cause but once I came up with an idea, he went along with it. Worst hospital ever.

This hospital is horrible and not considerate of people’s time. They will provide you with a time to be there for your appointment. You get there, then you are waiting 20-30 minutes to be seen by your physician. They’ve re-scheduled a few of my appointments without telling me and I would show up. I will never come back to this hospital for anything. This hospital is very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
