I went back to Chicago last week to visit my friend. The mechanic helped me to find out the mis-fire reasons and repair it in 3 hours. I feel my car like a brand new now.
- I had a wonderful experience here! Our catalytic converter was stolen, so we had our car taken to this auto repair shop. They had the car fixed and the converter replaced the same day, and they worked until 8pm to see it done. A wonderful Godly couple running the store and I could not emphasize more how reasonable, meticulous, and nice they are. I definitely will be coming here for regular car check ups in the future.
- Ming was great! What an HONEST & reasonably priced mechanic. I was told by another mechanic at a different shop my timing chain was about to go out and I would need it fixed the cost would be $3500. so I called around and found Ming. He quoted me $1000 less than the other shop, but that’s not the best part! The best part is I didn’t need a timing chain, I only needed a water pump! Ming diagnosed my car and told me what the real issue was a water pump! The catch with the other mechanic is when you replace a timing chain on certain vehicles you also have to change the water pump, the other place was definitely trying to take advantage of me! NOT MING he got me in the same day and my car was returned the next day!. Ill definitely use Ming at Twin Lens moving forward. Definitely a hidden gem in McKinley Park.
