Whole Foods Market Chicago Sauganash

This store has a good variety of ingredients considering its size.
Staff has also always been very helpful during all of my visits.
On the downside, it is a very busy store. And the food bar also feels over priced for the taste and quality of food. On one occasion I was attempting to buy a hot food item. However, the take home containers all seemed to be dirty with leftover food residue.
This is a fair organic grocery store option to have around, but definitely not my top pick.

I only went in there to do an Amazon return but the place is huge!!!! The prices were fair an well thought out seeing that it's an all organic food store. Would love to return again

I have been a fan of Whole Foods Market for quite some years. They have great selections and cleanliness throughout. Love the environment and vibes.

Plenty of products. Everything is really fresh. Fish section really impressive.

Great selection of bakery items. The store was nice and clean and very friendly clerks.

Hot bar update: food is newer these days but it is just dump and cook; and so the taste is very bland. Northbrook location cooks it with care and the same food is more flavorful there.
This Peterson location also is contaminated with CeraVe grease. Super slippery slimy silicone grease contaminates random surfaces. One or more employees must be using these disgusting slimy lotions here while they work. It spreads relentlessly onto non- users of this CeraVe nuisance

Rating the Hot bar foods:. Used to be fresh and totally delicious. They are increasingly leaving things out that are old, stale and recycled. Today, most of it was flavorless and recycled.

Update to above review: they cook it new every other day but things are undercooked at lower temps, so it taste totally bland, then they try to make this last for another day or so, repeating the heating and refrigerating cycle, so you pay a lot for this food but it NEVER tastes good at all

Another terrific experience at this very friendly Whole Foods. Nick at the service counter and Beralyn at the checkout were wonderful. Love the great selection of fresh produce. I’ll be back!

It's nice. People are helpful. I only buy what's on sale or can't get elsewhere.
