- Traffic to get there can be tedious, so definitely head out 3 hrs in advance if your flight is anytime after 5pm... Also, if you find a spot to sit, stay there! The place can get quite (over) capacity by the gates real quick.
- Shuttle service to and from the economy garage is a danger to passengers when drivers allow too many people on the bus. People standing in the aisle. Luggage in the aisle. Crammed in like sardines. Tell the driver this is unsafe and all he says "I do what I am told to do." I am fairly confident not all drivers are like that but I am going elsewhere to park my vehicle. There are more rental car shuttle buses by 3:1 and it is absurd.
- This is an airport on the decline. I've had a layover here about 5 times in the past year and had a consistently uncomfortable time. For some reason, it doesn't matter the time of day, most food options are either closed or selling exclusively prepackaged food (sandwich in ceran wrap). All around disappointing options. Went hungry for the second time after a layover here. I will spend an extra two hours in transit to avoid this place in the future.
- I love this airport, even when it's crazy busy. It's clean, lots of places to eat or shop. The renovations are great. I used to come here in the 80s and wow, that was bad. Today the intercom lady was very funny. Two people lost items, one their ID, the other a phone. She said about the ID "please come retrieve your ID, you're gonna need it!". About the phone "Please come get your item. I would call you, but I have your phone!"
- Had an enjoyable bus ride from the rental car place to the terminal. Bus driver was very pleasant She was a great singer
- The airport is very crowded but the views flying in are what make it a great experience.
- The best airport to fly to Chicago. Small and NO drama like O'Hare International Airport. Clean, organize and convenience. Good for business people who travels a lot. Midway, Oakland, Burbank, Dallas love field and Hobby airports are small airports.
- After a 2 1/2 hour flight with no food, looked forward to getting lunch at the airport, but the first place we stopped at (the Irish pub) had just closed their kitchen?!? Next tried a little brewpub but they were out of almost every meal on the menu and also out of several drinks we tried to order. Settled on just burgers, but the fries weren’t even fully cooked and no salt so very bland. Definitely not a good airport to catch a meal on your long layover:/
- Everything is closed during the night!! I expected an Airport this important had more options open at night
- Es un lugar muy bonito!! Pero hay un detalle muy grande. que tu equipaje no llega completo porque se roban las cosas de tus maletas.
