This is the best Polish / Eastern European grocery store in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.

Excellent selection. Fabulous deli and meats. Great prepared foods. Fresh rye Polski chleb! Soups of all kinds. Imported cheeses, butters, horseradish, herring and produce. Kapusta/sauerkraut and pickles in a barrel. Polish imported candies, Christmas ornaments, greeting cards and oplatki.

A very large selection of European foods. Huge deli counter as well, clean, and a great group of employees.

I went into this store thinking I was going to find a small snack to take to work. When I walked in the store, a amazing aroma of polish cooking hit me right away. I had to find where the smell was coming from. I found a hot food buffet. I decided to try it. I had no idea on what I was ordering, but, from the smell, I knew it had to be good.

All I am going to say is, not only was it delicious, it looked and tasted fresh. It did not taste like it came out of a bag either. It tasted home made to me. I was very pleased and impressed by how good it was. Also, when I paid for it, I found it to be very reasonable too. I could not eat at a fast food place, for the price I paid for a full meal I am definitely coming back again soon.

Very good selection of European food, big deli department, parking not a problem during regular working hours. Also, it’s closest BIG European supermarket for those who live in southwest suburbs (Costco is 2mi down the street so you can hit them both easy and fast)

Way more expensive than Aldi, BUT, they DID have bananas, which is apparently too much for a major food company to be able to handle consistently.

I don't mean they were OUT, ONCE, I mean they NEVER HAVE THEM. I've gone to Aldi 3-4 TIMES. NO bananas!! .3 miles up, there's a Polish booze store that has a few food items.

There's the stupid bananas! You'd think this is 1900, and getting them is a huge project!

Spent about 20 bucks that I WOULD have next door, had they HAD the stupid bananas.

I was glad to see the booze was way over there on other side of store (not a drinker for 13+ years) and I didn't have to walk through it to get food. The young girl spoke English, which was nice, considering I didn't even know the store was Polish. I might have bought more unique stuff had more signs been in English, but I managed.

So, thank you for doing a good job! Will report back on Polish coffee cake and raspberry Polish pop.

Excellent place to shop, great food and helpful staff. They support the community and smaller shops by selling their products too.
