- I randomly stopped here and I asked The counter? How's the food? Is it really meditarian or just the name. he replied with...It's so-and-so because that gentleman did not want me to have a high expectation from the food. but actually, this was the best meditarian food I ever tasted in the land of Chicago.
- I love Taste of Lebanon! Incredible food at great prices. The chicken shawarma is one of the best I have ever had, as was the lentil soup. We have been here many times, and the quality is consistently excellent. The staff is warm and friendly, and there is always a steady crown coming and going. You may need to wait a bit for a table, depending on what time you get there. Small, but extremely clean. I hope to eventually try everything they have, but can't bear to not get my favorites. It's a long drive to come here, but so worth it. Two can stuff themselves with great food for $12 total or less!
- Beef shawarma wrap was a little dry, but was super tasty. Might've been because I went late in the day. Baklava was delicious. Guys working were extremely nice. Unsuspecting location but I'd definitely go here than the other middle eastern place across the street.
- The food smelled so good I had to take a bite at first, next thing I know I ate everything I got without getting pictures. This was worth every penny. I will be back for sure.
- I would say this establishment has one of the best Tabouli Salads in town. With that in mind, I default to ordering the Veggie Combo #2 each time as it comes with fresh hummus, grape leaves, garden salad, falafels, tabouli, and pita bread to make your own wrap or to slide into the hummus and chew. Each time I'm inside the establishment, I admire how clean and organized the customer dining area is (love the hand washing station accessible to the public inside the dining area) and of course the cleanliness and flow of food inside the kitchen up until it's served to the customer. When I wake up, there's not a lot that's on my mind other than brushing my teeth, coffee, and of course that gorgeous Tabouli Salad.
- My favorite Lebanese place in all of Chicago. The prices are fair, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly - and it’s been consistent I’ve the 7 years I’ve come here. Highly recommend the chicken or beef shawarma, hummus, Lebanese salad, fries - you really can’t go wrong with anything here. (But beware, it’s cash only!)
