- This is a quaint Greek-specific menu. Loved it!
While I gave 5 stars for atmosphere, there is nothing over-the-top. In fact, it's very basic. But that, for me, is what makes it different and enjoyable. The food was great and the servers were kind and willing to spend time at the table to answer our questions about the food. This is a place we will continue to go back to.
- Amazing food and great service! Every detail was delicious down to the salad dressing and pita bread. We’ll be back for sure!
- Had a gyro before leaving town. Definitely a mom and pop shop. Very good. Colleagues stated the salad was very vinegary but was very good. Chicken gyro was great and the fries were fresh and tasted like fresh oil
- Good traditional Greek restaurant. Mom and pop type place. Lots of traditional Greek dishes. Many Greek wines and beers are available as well. Service can be a little slow when it is busy. Love some flaming Saganaki and gyro platter.
- From start to finish - the entire meal was superb. Authentic and easily one of the best Gyros I've ever had. This is everything I want in a dining experience. The staff and owner were both incredibly kind. I will be returning frequently! Everyone that hasn't tried this restaurant should do themselves a favor and come visit as soon as possible.
- Great little restaurant me and my wife wanted to try something different than our usual spots. Our waitress was super nice and helpful with ordering. The soup was pretty good with, had to add some salt and pepper. The salad was probably the biggest complaint I’d have as if was doused in oil. The appetizer of pitta brad and gyro sauce was incredible. The bread was warm and fresh, easily could have eaten it by itself. Our main dishes were really good too! I would maybe order something different than just the three meats but it was nice to try all of their cuts. Will definitely keep this in as restaurant to revisit.
- The newly remodeled restaurant has a true Greek feel and very cozy. The food was incredible with authentic options. The calamari appetizer along with the flaming cheese is a must! Gyro salad is my favorite! The owner is very friendly and will be seen visiting with guests. Probably the best place for lunch in Des Moines!
