I'm no longer fan... 10 months after I brought gaming laptop to my son over $2000 the geek squad was unable to fix the screen saying missing part? Now what? Trash? That's was never happened if I was purchasing from Costco... what a disappointment.... can you believe that my son gonna grow up as a Best Buy fan like I was till that happened... bye bye Best Buy

This Best Buy has sucked for awhile but I kept coming back because it's the only one that's easy to stop at on my way home from work. I think I'm done now, though. They've shafted me on preorder bonuses for games more than once, and last year took a pre-order for a game that released WHILE THEY WERE CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION. I didn't find this out 'til I showed up to pick up my game and was faced with locked doors. They took my money for the game and it took me two days to get a refund with their online chat help desk. Now, today, I stopped in to pick up a plush I had heard they had, and on my way out the guard asked if I had stolen a videogame. Excuse me???? I was standing there, clearly having just made a verified purchase, and got accused of stealing games (that they already have in security cases mind you, not sure how anyone could be stealing them at all).

The orange overweight male employee with a long patchy beard, tried to what I thought was helping us. Me and my husband were trying to buy me a new computer for school & this person talked our ear off about anything but the computer. When he asked us questions, he wouldn't take my answers only my husband's answer. I did not feel safe with this man being on the sale floor treating women like that. The computer was for me and I was paying, why he only care about my husband's opinion is beyond me. Then when asking about another computer, he only talked to my husband & refused to sell us the other computer. I'd understand a cashier being this way being this way but a salesman representing a company like best buy. I'm going somewhere else, thank you.

Absolutely the worst place to buy anything. I took my time doing my research found the perfect computer that I wanted It was overpriced but I bought it from Best buy. Three months later the same stopped working when I sent it back to HP for manufacturer's warranty they said it was a remanufactured unit that it was not new and that it would not be under warranty. When I informed the manager at the store what would the deal was he told me that I could have easily doctored up that document all by my own that he doesn't believe it even though it came directly from HP. they did nothing for me except for a $50 gift card. Never been back again.
