TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

I couldn’t be happier with my experience delivering my daughter at P/SL. This is the best hospital I’ve ever received care at. Well before the visit to L&D, the childbirth education resources were phenomenal and all the care providers and educators care deeply about the best outcome for mom and baby. It was the same experience in the delivery and postpartum rooms. All of the L&D/postpartum/baby nurses and physicians were amazing, took good care of us and also respected our wishes and needs. We needed some imaging done for our daughter and all of the right people from the right specializations talked to each other and made swift decisions and we didn’t have to do any work in facilitating that (which has not been my experience at other hospitals). We are really pleased with our overall experience and glad to have such a great hospital in town.

I had a kidney stone for the first time ever and was in a lot of pain when I arrived. I checked in the ER and was talking to a nurse in 15 minutes and in a room 30 minutes total. I was impressed how Denver being a large city; that I got the attention and passion from medical professionals that actually treated me like a human.

This place could not be better and run by more competent staff.

You literally saved my life, and I will forever be in your debt. Thank you for your caring and trustworthy services. Again, thank you for saving my life. Without your talented team, my family should be planning a funeral. Chris H. Nashville TN summer 2023

I’m a travel nurse who’s constantly on contracts and I take a lot in Colorado so that being said when I needed to be seen I decided come to this hospital because it is close by where I’m staying and I was happy to find that they are very efficient and I was in and out pretty fast for a Emergency room visit I’m glad I chose this hospital over the university because they were very thorough here, for any of my other needs I will be back here, thank you to the staff at st.Luke

I have a loved one in the hospital that is having a hard time and in fear, also to mention Schizophrenic. The security guard named Wensley that talked to his brother was totally disrespectful. Was completely dumbfounded at how she reacted. Especially for the fact that his health is in jeopardy.

DO NOT GO! They charge $10,000 for a level 4 emergency visit (just the visit) not including any testing etc. Level 4 is the lowest care needed.

The nurses were great but when sent by ambulance to the psych hospital they didn't send my clothes or wallet with me. When discharged from the psych ward was sent back to the ER to retrieve my things was left without transportation. Had no money. I will try to avoid this hospital at all costs if I need a hospital again. Had to unhook my own heart monitor several times just to use to bathroom. My plastic urinal was too full so I had to use a Gatorade bottle which they placed on my food tray thinking it was something for me to drink. Pathetic,

They wouldn't let me leave and insisted I be admitted. When I asked to leave the next day, they said I wasn't physically able to. Then they told my insurance my care was NOT "medically necessary." Ok, if it wasn't necessary and was instead forced on me, I won't be paying for any medication, IVs or radiology completed. I'll die before I go to this hospital by choice again.

Dont work here i was a telemetry technician here and the staff are rude , the nurses dont call you to admit their patients, the nurses are so rude on the phone, have bad bedside manner , and they use faulty medical equipment on their patients. They even stood me up after they scheduled an interview with me and never showed up for a phone interview. Now their telemetry technicians are centralized in the Denver Tech Center and they already have probelms with patients falling out of bed and the telemetry technicians are always blamed for patient probelems.

Can't say enough good things about the emergency room staff and doctors. Care was prompt and thorough. Doctors and staff were checking in every 20-30 minutes while we waited for test results. It's ideal being in the ER but this team makes it easy on you.

I hope we never need to come here again. My husband was transferred from our preferred hospital to this one. He needed an emergency procedure. They said he'd get it at 8 am but they kept him in limbo until around 3 or 4 pm. Procedure took maybe half an hour. Then they took an hour to discharge him.

Checking in ER at 9:00 a.m. Testing was done almost immediately, however after 2 hours not one person ever entered our room. After requesting to speak to the nurse requesting some sort of update we were told Dr would be in soon. After another 30 minutes wait still no one. Went back to nurse station requesting discharge. The nurse was rude, abrupt and unapologetic. Never saw the Dr. Website reads 3 minute wait time in ER, sure to check in. Wait time in room is a whole different story.

Don't ever go here. You will sit in the emergency room for hours waiting for a room. 26 hours before going to "my floor". The staff are all working extremely hard but very short on employees! I spoke with a friend and they said they can't keep employees due to low pay and poor working conditions. Once in by real room I was told they have a full floor closed! The employee said the CNO John Goerke and CFO Chris Dunbar are directly responsible. I bet they haven't taken any pay cuts to help with staffing.

I had a quarter size abscess and I went in on Labor Day, everyone there were extremely nice even on a holiday. I’d personally like to thank the physician: Cynthia Kelmenson MD & practitioner: Justin A Mello PA and nurse: ES (didn’t get their name) as they were very kind, lanced my abscess & got me in an out within an hour tops. I will definitely be coming back to this ER! 5 star!

Avoid this hospital at all costs. I went to the ER and was there less than two hours. I told the physician assistant (I never saw an actual doctor) exactly what I thought the problem was - so it was not a complex case by any means. She did the requisite tests and confirmed my suspicion. You can imagine my shock, then, when I received a bill for $20K. Even with insurance, I am still on the hook for a substantial amount so now I must spend hours fighting these unethical, astronomical charges for things like a metabolic blood panel for $1700. To give you some context, that same blood test costs $25 at any LabCorp location. I realize there is a cost for emergency services but this is an example of price gouging, pure and simple, and it doesn't reflect well on this hospital's inner workings. Regardless of your ability to pay, please find emergency care somewhere else.

This place is a joke you go to be seen at the emergency room and they have no order to the way that they do things here they’ll bring people back that were there after you and leave you sitting in the waiting room I had to walk out and go to another hospital to be seen since they just skipped me and went to another person

Only reason I left one star is cuz they did t offer zero. Rude staff doesn’t let the dad do anything to help their partner. Got told I had to sleep in a corner of a room and not by my wife while she was literally just laying in bed waiting to be induced. This place is a joke I wish we could have just stayed I. Casper to deliver our child

My son went to the ER at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center and was treated with GREAT care. The staff was very alert and truly seeking to understand the situation. The facilities were clean and the wait time was minimal. Would recommend to anyone who needs their services!

They desperately need to hire a janitor. Gas station restrooms are cleaner and smell better than the one they have for families of people in the ICU. It’s horrifying. Avoid this hospital at all costs--problems are far greater than just lack of cleanliness.
