So, after my old dentist retired I went way too long without looking for another dentist. A little over a year ago I broke a canine tooth and after seeing the endless five start reviews for Care First, I went in on a Friday morning. Walked in, told them what happened and the all of the receptionists jumped up concerned that I was in pain, etc. as if I had been a loyal patient of theirs for the last ten years … and I was just a walk in ! Fortunately I wasn’t in pain ( don’t know why ?? ) and they immediately set me up for as a new patient emergency … without me even having to ask. These girls could give a course on kind, efficient and competent customer service. Many front dest staffs could use lessons from these girls. Any nervousness or apprehension about what I was in for with this broken tooth vanished in about two minutes of meeting and talking with these receptionists … a psychiatrist would have taken three years to do the same and they did it in a couple minutes. I was set up the beginning of the following week with Dr. Uram as my dentist , who was just incredible. The hygienist that was assigned me is Amanda and is just as awesome as the rest of the team. A couple visits later I was all done with the broken tooth and regular care visits began. The procedures for the broken tooth / permanent bridge were long and involved but I felt zero pain or discomfort either during the work or after when the numbing agent wore off. I can’t say enough about Care First team. I go to the dentist now with no more hesitation than I do going for an eye exam. ‘Five Stars’ isn’t enough … if I could give fifteen, I would.
