- Lowe's is head and shoulders above home Depot. Always someone to help you at Lowe's. Athome Depot you ask for help and 90% of the workers act like you're bothering them. I spend $200,000.00 - $250,000.00
A year mostly at home Depot because of location but no more. Lowe's is definitely better than home Depot
- I do a lot of home improvement and I'm running into one Lowes or another every other week.
Consistently, I always find knowledge and a little extra assistance to get the things I need on the budget im restricted to.
- OK, in the past my experiences as a customer at this Lowe's went from bad to indifferent to truly bizarre. But it's been at least a year since I've shopped there. Today (5/27/2023) was exceptional for any store, let alone this Lowe's. Every employee was super helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Like a completely different store. I don't know if there was a management change over the past year or so, but if so please retain your new hires because they turned this place completely around.
- If I could give no stars, I would. I bought a refrigerator online after mine spontaneously stopped working. I was told delivery would be the next day and I would receive a call that evening with a four-hour window for delivery. We never received a call. They texted my landlord at 8:12 am that they were on their way and they were here at 8:20 am. No one was awake (it’s a Saturday). When we woke up and saw the messages, we spent the next two hours tracking down the delivery company to be told they couldn’t come back today and we would have to call Lowe’s to reschedule. I then spent another hour being transferred and put on hold and told different days for the next delivery option and then finally disconnected waiting to speak to a merchandising manager. When I called back, the store manager answered and told me I was given the wrong information and that she could take my name and number and have the delivery company call me back.
Well I already spoke with the delivery company. So she told me they were very busy today and that is my only option (excellent customer service dealing with an issue that is your responsibility). So at this point, I still have no refrigerator, medication that will go bad and no currently scheduled delivery bc they have to wait for the truck to get back in order to reschedule. The earliest will be four days from now. I will never make a purchase again from Lowe’s to be delivered. This is not a one-time issue for me. I’ve never had the delivery go right. Shame on Lowe’s in general for using these third party services and shame on the store for not handling my call in a more professional manner. I’ll update if things turn around.
