ABOUT

Who are we? Well, we seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun we bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of what we’re all about. Oh yeah, we’re a mission-driven company too.

The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.

I used to shop at the Whole Foods on Mayo so when I started shopping at this Whole Foods two years ago I was worried they wouldn’t have the same selection but I was wrong. They have everything I’m looking for, despite it being a much smaller store. (They’re bakery is significantly more limited but i don’t shop much in the bakery either.) The other thing that I love about the store, is that the lines are not insanely long like they are on Mayo. There have been times when I was at the mayo store, and there were only two checkout people. There were super crazy long lines for the self check out and the checkout people. There are usually at least 3 to 4 people at this store checking people out and there’s rarely a line.

They have a decent selection but they overcharge for products. I pay wayless for at other stores.

If you happen to arrive when they put out hot food in pans or fresh salads, it's great, but as far as someone making sure it's properly stocked and rotated, forget it. Empty hot pans with harded, dry out scraps of food are more & more common. Several times, I've passed up hot food because it's so low that it appears cemented to the pan. Last night, I drove 10 minutes out of the way to get a salad around 5:15pm. Except for some wilted kale, the spinach, romaine & mixed greens were completely empty. Consistently, hit or miss.

I love Whole Foods but this one is very disappointing. Food at the hot bar is cold and with very limited choices. Poor and unfriendly staff. I had higher expectations considering it’s location.

The least interesting whole foods I've been, not even almond cookies in the cookies bar.

I love this store! I had been a loyal Fry's shopper but Whole Foods is stocked and staffed well. The selection of responsibly sourced food is excellent and delicious. Whole Foods prices are fair. This is an elevated shopping experience so one would expect to pay for the quality. If you are tired of the standard factory-farmed fare, give Whole Foods a try!
