In 2019, after much hard work and creative thought, Dr. Julian Berlin opened the doors of Cosmic Smiles. He has been able to put his personal touch on everything at Cosmic Smiles with an importance to create a safe, kid-friendly, and cheerful space.

Dr. Julian Berlin grew up in New York where his love for working with children was evident at a young age as he was an assistant coach to children under 12 in Brooklyn Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League.
In 2010, Dr. Berlin earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. After completing a one-year general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center, he decided to focus on pediatrics. He then completed a two-year pediatric training at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Berlin is currently on staff at Broward Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale` to perform dental procedures for patients under general anesthesia.
In 2018, Dr. Julian Berlin relocated to South Florida and created a unique office with a fun “outer space” adventure for the children visiting the dentist. The goal was to provide them with an experience that makes them feel like they are the most important little astronauts in the world!
From the moment you enter our office, we introduce “fun”- from our child-friendly space theme decor, educational toys, to games on tablets and TV’s for kids to watch during their visit. At Cosmic Smiles, kids feel right at ease with our entire team – making visits something that everyone in your family can look forward to.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children visit a dentist by the first birthday. Your child’s first visit to the dentist is very important as you, your child, and Dr. Berlin begin working together on the path to a healthy and beautiful smile for a lifetime to come.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
We accept dental insurance, including most PPO plans and Florida Healthy Kids / Medicaid plans. We are always happy to file your claim for you as a courtesy and encourage you to call if you have questions. We recommend that you contact our office prior to your appointment to provide us with insurance information for verification of benefits. We accept all major credit cards and offer financing programs through Care Credit (https://www.carecredit.com/) for those who qualify. Payment for treatment is due at the time of service. For more details about insurance and/or our accepted forms of payment, including our in-house financing and payment plans, please contact our office to speak with a member of our team. We will be happy to discuss your treatment and financial options with you.

The moment we arrived at Cosmic Smiles we were greeted by the sweetest front desk women Sarah. She was very welcoming and very kind. Once my daughter saw the inside of the office my daughter wasn’t scared, she seemed excited. They allowed her to look at everything b4 even having to sit down and meet with Dr Berlin…..she seemed so at ease! Then we met Dr Berlin and he was just Lovely! My daughter took to him immediately, and that’s never been the case at ANY dentist office. The Star Wars theming is an amazing touch and so amazing. We ended up doing total sedation mouth surgery at Joe DiMaggio hospital with Dr Berlin. As scared as we were, Dr Berlin made us feel Totally at ease, and it was a success! Her mouth is completely done (4 crowns, 3 fillings, 1 extraction w/ spacer) She healed within a week and she feels amazing. We are thrilled her years of pain are over, and we have Dr Berlin to thank for it! We are now patients here for Both our girls and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Dr Berlin and staff for giving such piece of mind for a once very tense situation!
- Dr. Berlin is wonderful all around, I highly recommend the practice for all pediatric dental needs! Cosmic Smiles was definitely our best find in a long time. The office is clean, fun and quite simply the coolest … the decor will have your kid(s) and you mesmerized. I grew up around a dental office and it was not the entertaining and impressive place that this is! We have been for regular check ups and cleanings as well as emergency visits/ mouth trauma and the experience for all of them have been overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Berlin went above and beyond with after hour visits when our son had an accident / suffered a mouth injury. The level of care, treatment, knowledge, dentistry, skill, professionalism and follow up while being personal and calming to us and our young child was unparalleled.
