Staff is help and they are pretty organized.

On a Saturday morning I noticed my car was having difficulties. The issue was that my car wasn’t starting so I searched for the nearest auto zone and this location came up, as I arrived at this location I saw that it was busy so I waited on line and an employee named Joel came to my assistance, I thought my cars alternator was bad but joel found the actual problem which was my battery. He saved me a lot of time from going to the mechanic. Highly recommend this place but ask for Joel.

The Auto Zone on Whiteplains Road & Story Avenue has to be one of the worst stores in the Bronx. Everytime a customer request one of their free services, they refuse to do the testing. I went there on Sunday, September 5th to purchase a battery and I witnessed a customer turned away after requesting a free diagnostic test. He was told they were they were "short staff". I returned to AutoZone the following day and requested a free alternator test because the issue with my car wasn't resolved. There were at least 6 employees behind the counter and two customers in the store including myself. The manager refused to have an employee test the alternator. I was forced to drive to another location to have the alternator tested. You would think they would treat their paying customers better. I will never spend another dollar in that place.

Went early on a Sunday sign states it opens @ 8 am, it’s now after 9 am, doors still closed. Happens on weekdays too!
