Dr. Salamon Rafailov, Dr. Radmila Shuminov & Dr. Sonya Mazlyer have been collectively serving the Fresh Meadows and Marine Park Community for over a decade. In 2007 Dr. Rafailov obtained his dental degree from NYU and completed his residency at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn in 2008. Following in her father's footsteps, Dr. Shuminov also attended NYU Dental School and completed her residency at Maimonides Medical Center in 2017. Dr. Mazlyer joins them in being a graduate from NYU Dental School in 2022. She completed her General Dental residency at Northwell Health in 2023. Dr. Rafailov, Dr. Shuminov and Dr. Mazlyer deeply value friends & family, and have made it their mission to provide high-quality dental care at affordable rates.

Everyone at the office are friendly, professional, knowledgeable according to their scope of practice. We’re a family of five have been coming to BWD for over 10 years, and one of the best decisions made. Every time we leave the office, my husband and I will talk about our teeth for days. I was seeing another Dentist for over 30 years who stopped taking our plan. I searched Cigna and saw this office was near home so I visited it to ask questions..
Well the front desk women Inna was so helpful and fun that I said this could be my new teeth home … I booked an appointment for my 6 month cleaning and wow am I glad I found this office. First as I said front desk amazing but then I had my x-rays and the assistant was so cool and fun and made me relax so easy. X-rays went cool see my funny picture .
Now the next step which most times I don’t like the cleaning process holy moly the lady was so gentle and informative about the steps that I wish I could go more often..
She then introduced me to Dr. Rafailov who was very friendly and Professor.I explained my situation and told him I hope to be here for the next 30 years he laughed and we joked. He then offered some great advice about a cap I had for almost 60 years and you will see the picture looks like my tooth is giving me the finger we were all laughing but his advice was great and can’t wait for the next visit.
The thing about be scared going to the Dentist is totally changed at this office I want to come back. Thank you to everyone who works at this office …

Booking an appointment was hassle-free. Alexis, the hygienist, performed an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Alisa, the receptionist, was friendly and accomodating.

Always satisfied with the professionalism and care provided by the team here. I highly recommend them to everyone I know. I know a lot of people and have a big mouth. Lol so they are winning! If you are looking for a new dentist look no further!

I've been away from my Dentist for 4 years and it was indeed a pleasure to be back. Always look forward to see Dr. Rafilov, the best Dentist ever. I met a new Dental Hygienist, forgot her name at this time. She was so gentle, the best I've ever experienced. Even though I'm terrified of going to the Dentist, I always leave Bright White Dental with a smile
