Much more informative, than the consulate in Atlanta.*sorry!*
actually , it's the one I used to go through for Documents, passports, info., when living in Atlanta.
NYC Irish Consulate were able to help me in my more unusual situation of obtaining passports for my children, (a Dublin proccess) advice on what our rights are, as dual citizens of America and Ireland.
(which is part of the EU for those that are not aware). They are very particular about it nowadays, and it's reserved only through legacy..
Basically now- Only through a parent that was an Irish citizen, when you were born. (Tis A GREAT thing for us auld Yanks that would prefer to bring their children back home and reverse what our mothers or fathers did, *OR grandparents* as the American dream has turned to nightmare for many of us- ☆ feeling blessed for EIRE- as a Maher of three, that are feeling lost in this US non-united system
(where children can be ripped from their MOTHER, in A Southern town with narrow Minds- based on slander, libel, and appearance, and disability that DOES NOT affect my parenting.
Add my decision to legally homeschooling via online ,with a Georgia waiver submitted to the DOE!) Never imagined that would be enough to be treated like a criminal, when I don't even believe in spanking...I am fed up with having harassment done to me by classless people, using a different form of abuse when they could not lay their hands on me or my kids.... how very WRONG, and definitely feel ashamed to be American right now...
Money does not buy class, nor does it buy dignity, empathy, or ethics. THANK GOD FOR THE US CONSTITUTION& IT'S FEDERAL PROTECTIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS- albeit still in the process of seeing this work.
