They are discriminatory about service animals , unless your white & look rich. They will also tow your car if you park in the pick up space . Even though there are no times listed on the signs

Always organized and clean, great produce. Dont drive there… getting out of the parking lot is a disaster. They should have someone directing traffic but instead it’s the hunger games.

Love this supermarket but love them the most for their floral selection! I always come here, hand pick flowers and the employees are always so helpful at putting together a floral arrangement for me. The flowers last for weeks!!!!!!!! Honestly it is my go to place to get flowers for my daughters teachers and or anytime I need flowers for a special occasion!

I love Whole Foods, however, the Whole Foods Market on third street in Brooklyn NY is probably the worst store in terms of customer service. I did not realize that there are two sections between deli and salads such as tuna salad. There is no sign indicating so. I’m standing online and one of the deli employees comes and asks who is next. I raise my hand and say I’m next. Then the employee says, “Well why are you standing on that line you should be over there.” I say “ Oh I didn’t know that there is two separate lines.” He says, “Yeah there’s two lines” So I ask is there a sign that indicates that? He responds “No but it’s common sense.” I said no not really and then he takes my order. He’s such an expert and wise that he kept asking me what my order was and I only had two. I get the packages back with one not being closed tightly and the other a little dirty. I was very upset and afterwards I spoke to the manager who said she will speak to him right away and it’s unacceptable. She asked if I wanted a new package I said no thanks. I also called customer service and filed a complaint. I hope they take care of this. The employee’s name is Dizzie, kid you not, if you ever go there be wary. All the employees there always look miserable and never want to help do anything. You go to the customer service desk for help and they sigh and roll their eyes. If you don’t want to work there then don’t! There are people in the world who really need a job and they’re just there creating a negative experience/ atmosphere.

Used the catering department to order 5 of their berry Chantilly cakes for an event, as it’s one of my favorite cakes ever! Not too sweet and just decadent enough, with fresh berries.
It was a smooth process and the bakery staff member was extremely helpful in sneering my questions. 10/10 recommend their catering division.

Beautiful, huge supermarket. Attractive, wide, clean aisles. Be prepared to spend a lot of time exploring. Many breads and rolls in the bakery, nicely packaged meats and poultry. Decent sale items. Grocery items I have never before seen. Place goes on forever. Bathrooms upstairs. Lots of parking.
But expensive.

This Whole Foods is the most beautiful grocery store in America, very possibly the world!
It has its own gorgeous park with benches right over the storied and iconic gowanus canal, once a putrid disgusting waterway which has since been cleaned up
The shop is immaculate. Everything is well-placed. From the moment one enters, your immediate needs are placed at the forefront: vegetables and fruits, followed by seafood and meats and then finally other stuff we dont really need but may just want. I’m impressed at how well-thought out the product placement is. Whoever designed this shop deserves an award.
Even the produce here looks better than produce elsewhere, shinier and prettier. The atmosphere is zen and customers for the most part are in great spirits too.
The parking lot outside is beautiful with mini wind turbines and massive solar panels. I visited this shop multiple times a day during the pandemic because its such a nice store. These days I live in an outer borough so my less frequent trips are valued even deeper. I even got mugged on my way here and stopped in nonetheless to catch my breath and gather myself. Its a special place.
You’ve set a high bar for grocery shopping WFG, now I compare most places in NYC to you. I’ll go to other WF and say, sure its nice but its not Gowanus

This is one of the few wholefoods store in the city that has a parking lot which makes it much easier if you drive for weekend shopping. However, below are some pros and cons:
Pro:
- parking is easy
- close to highway and very easy to get to
- Kids friendly, especially the second floor play area and bathroom is very thoughtful
- The greenhouse on the second floor is nice.
- Citibike station just at the corner
Con:
- EV charger had been removed

This place is good there is a dining area and a bar where the amazon return area is on the top floor it would be a nice place to sit and have lunch with outside dining
