Juxtaposed beside the great Rockefeller Center, Saks fifth avenue is absolutely a stop you should take. Very high quality customer service and shops impossible to find in smaller cities. Champagne from Dior was a positive, thank you Louis!

Saks Fifth Avenue is one of the most iconic luxury department stores in New York City. Located on Fifth Avenue, directly across from Rockefeller Center, it offers a classic and elevated shopping experience that feels both glamorous and timeless.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elegant. The displays are beautifully curated, and every floor is organized with attention to detail. You can find a wide range of designer brands, from high fashion clothing to shoes, handbags, beauty products, and accessories. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, simply walking through the store feels like an experience in itself.

One of the highlights is visiting during the holiday season. The building’s façade transforms with impressive light shows and window displays that attract visitors from all over the world. It truly captures the magic of New York during winter.

The staff is generally attentive and professional, especially in the designer sections. Prices are definitely on the higher end, but that is expected given the luxury brands they carry. It is a great place to browse trends, try on statement pieces, or treat yourself to something special.

Overall, Saks Fifth Avenue represents classic New York sophistication. Whether you are shopping seriously or just exploring the city, it is worth stopping by to experience the atmosphere and iconic setting.

Oooh boy. The press about Saks going bankrupt is clearly the truth. The beauty and skincare sections have been DEPLETED of stock since November… The poor sales associates will string you along and tell you to “come back in two weeks” for shipment restocks that do not exist… until you realize hold up, it’s been ten weeks of “come back in two weeks.” Girl they are playing in your face with fiction and it’s my fault I let them play me with false hope. Especially in this economy! There is sadly no point in going here because what you need is gone, is never coming back, and isn’t available online either. Sometimes you gotta know when to bow out and say goodbye!

Saks is my favorite holiday tradition. Every year, I have to stop by the flagship—nothing beats those luxury vibes. The highlight is always the Christmas light show, especially with the stunning
Dior collaboration; watching the building dance to the music never gets old. With everything changing lately, we’re all just hoping they never close their doors. It wouldn’t be Christmas in the city without it!

One of my favorite stores ever- this NY Flagship is a must if you are a shopaholic and on a trip to NYC. The outside is truly a beautiful building. If you love shopping, who wouldn't want floors of beautiful clothes and shoes to peruse for hours? I love that the shoe department has its's own floor and zip code. Great service and lots of selection to choose from!

Luxury department store but the most of the staff is grumpy and got a serious bad attitude! Nicer to shop elsewhere.
