Dr. Galperin completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Long Island University and he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York State University at Stony Brook - Long Island in 2000. Upon graduation, he completed his residency at JFK Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Galperin has kept his clinical skills current by attending continuing education courses to learn the latest advances in dentistry. Also, he participated in the Aloha Medical Mission to Loag, Phillipines with a team of doctors to repair cleft lip and palate. Dr. Shadoud holds D.D.S. degrees from New York University, Advanced Standing Program, where he won the Rudner Award for Comprehensive Dental Care, and Damascus University. He goes above and beyond when it comes to continuing education and following the latest developments in dental care.
Dr. Shadoud also has a background in academia, having taught at Georgetown University and Columbia University. His care philosophy has always focused on patients’ well-being, dentally and otherwise, and he has always asserted that preventative, restorative and comprehensive care should come together. He is committed to creating treatment plans that are faithful to the values and socioeconomics of his patients. His compassionate approach to dental care unites art and science. Dr. Shadoud is a member of the American Dental Association and New York Dental Society.
