- This place is great for authentic Uzbek food! I have had Uzbek food in other restaurants in NY and they aren’t anywhere close to how good their food is. The service is excellent as well. Would recommend it to anyone looking to have a great Uzbek food experience!

- Recently a friend of mine took me to Toshkent restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. I liked the food, especially the lamb and beef Shashlik. Next time I’m in Brooklyn, I will definitely eat at Toshkent restaurant again.
- Came here twice with friends. The restaurant is usually not too packed. It's really clean & authentic with beautiful pictures on the wall, the table is set up really nicely. The waiters are welcoming & with good service. We got couple of things to share, the achichuk & avocado salad. Traditional uzbek plov, potatoes with mushrooms, narin and for the drinks we had homemade fruit compote. We didn't wait long for the food. Everything was fresh & delicious. They also play nice music on youtube & you can request a song of your choice & have a little dance session. On the weekends they have live music as will. Definitely recommend to try this place out at least once.

I would of gave em 5. But the guy who works there was a little nasty, doesn't know how to talk to customers. He accosted my friend because he seen cash in his wallet, and asked him "why are you paying with card if you have cash" That created unnecessary awkwardness and avoidable altercation.
