- I am literally so happy with this vet!! Not only are they the only vet in the city that cares for small animals, but they do it with such love and care! My guinea pig has had a couple of check ups since I got him 2.5 years ago (all well visits) and he’s such a good boy & pretty calm, no matter who the doctor is!! Today, I brought him in for a nail trim (he wiggles out of my arms when I try). He stayed pretty calm for the doctor! Thank Gd all nails were trimmed perfectly - no issues with the quic of his nails :) the staff - doctors, nurses (assistants?) & the front desk reception staff are all so incredible!!

- I was absolutely impressed with high quality of service, professionalism and caring attitude the center provided.

Dr. Halasz carefully listened my concerns about my rabbit. My rabbit is almost 10 y.o. We came to have her back leg checked. I was very worried about sedation to proceed with orthopedic X-ray. Dr. Halasz didn’t push to proceed with sedation right away. First, they took a blood test. Then based on the test result, they proceed with sedation and X-Ray. I really appreciated that doctor took this safe approach. They really cared about my rabbit. After procedures doctor spent time explaining results and answering my questions. This was our second visit to the center. Both times my rabbit was not stressed out when we came back home. It is very positive sign for me. The stuff, the nurse and the doctor were very helpful, attentive and polite. I am grateful for your care, attention and time. I would highly recommend this center. Absolutely 5+ service.

- Had a guinea pig check-up, paid a deposit of $135.16 ahead of time and no extra charges at the appointment (my pet got a clean bill of health) - waiting room is very cute, rooms are clean, vet and staff were all very friendly - I'll be back soon with my other two guinea pigs.

This is the only place I can trust to see my rabbit. All the staff are nice, and easy going and listen to all the needs of my rabbit. Defiantly a must go if you have exotic pets.

I had a really poor experience here. I was misquoted for my first appointment and had to pay $80 additional. Because the appointment was not scheduled properly and misquoted as a second dose appointment for the rabbit vaccine they had to scramble to find a doctor to see me. I clearly communicated it was our first time getting the vaccine!! The doctor seemed a little overwhelmed and it made me feel like it was my fault for the schedule mix up even though I called several animal hospitals and thought I was getting the best quote (I wasn’t, AMC is better if you factor in the $80 extra I paid). Further I was told my rabbit could come back in 3 weeks for his second dose. What I wasn’t told is that it HAS to be within 3 weeks . Now that it’s been more than that I was told it would cost an additional $180. They can still give the vaccine. It’s not like I waited too long and we have to do it again, it’s just now they charge way more? It was so much miscommunication and I was made to feel that it was my fault for being given wrong information. I’m so disappointed.

Dr. Cleary is a brilliant doctor with so much compassion for animals and pet owners. He saved our bunny from gi stasis and a liver torsion. If you have any exotic animal come here!

I normally don’t write Google reviews but the high quality of service I received from this place almost compels me to. I booked an appointment for a vaccine, wellness exam, and grooming just to see if I was doing everything right as a new rabbit owner and to get my baby bunny protected against RHDV. The vet and assistants that handled my appointment were so welcoming and thorough with everything. It was nice to hear their explanations on rabbit care because everything about it is so nuanced. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience here, and I plan to get my bunny spayed here just because of how reliable these guys are.

Dr.Renna was careing and considerate. She took great care of my lovely cockatiel.Thank you very very much for your care. And also the lady at the front desk was very kind. I would recommend this plactice to all my friends with exotic animal.

The best place ever. I wouldn’t trust my little bambino (a green cheeked conure) with anyone else. We call it going to bird camp. Everyone is wonderful and prices are surprisingly reasonable.

They are so kind, friendly, and helpful! My rabbit had been previously seeing a different vet who couldn’t diagnose his issue over the span of a month. I switch over to The Center For Avian & Exotics and they diagnose my rabbits issue in ONE DAY! I am so grateful to have made this swap. Their service was swift, thorough, and they made sure to keep my rabbit as comfy as possible. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
