The ER is acting like there is no urgency and just relax with their work! No one really cares if you’re really in danger or have some critical condition. I’m not sure what protocol they follow but I’m sure it’s not an ER protocol. I wish there was another children ER service. In 2023, you still have to spend many hours in ER just to see a doctor and get result. Why it’s called ER!

We've been here a whole week with our newborn son & I am so thankful for all the nurses, doctors and staff. They were absolutely amazing, especially Gwen!! The care and love that we've received through such a tough time, meant so much. I definitely recommend this hospital.

Takes long to answer or doesn't answer at all. Was on hold for almost 10 minutes and then hung up on. Was on hold again for about 3 mins but the nurse was nice when I finally spoke to one concerning my daughter!

attentive, friendly, quick. my 2 yr old came in with a fractured shoulder. doctor erin 31 seymour st 4th floor told us pros, cons, healing process, what to expect, what to watch for, risks, time frames, what to avoid etc. original hospital sling was too big, she gave my LO a new sling and took time to properly adjust it.

We were told to sign routine pre clinic insurance authorization forms as they are standard. However, few weeks later we were told that “medical insurance do not cover routine eye exam” so we are responsible for the full bill. This is unprofessional as they should have confirmed whether medical insurance would such services.

Had an appointment today for my 10 month old son in the aero digestive department. We showed up at 9:43 for our 9:30 appointment and we’re turned away told to either reschedule or wait around for a cancellation. First of all they mentioned a 10 minute late policy that I was 3 minutes past… that’s just absurd this is a children’s hospital and you guys are turning away children. I am literally mind blown never in my life have I experienced this as an adult but to have my 10 month old be refused for being 3 minutes past the 10 minute “late policy” is ridiculous, I could see if I was 20 minutes past it, which I never would have been at that point I would have rescheduled, but to be on time and get caught up in the garage traffic with people waiting for others to back up causing others to be late. Yes, I get it says to arrive 15 minutes early, but sometimes you can’t get out of the house with a 10 month old that fast like you’d like. I just never heard of a CHILD being turned away from an appointment!

$378 facility fee just for a 15 minute outpatient appointment. Outrageous. Unaffordable for a middle class family and will have to look elsewhere for care for my kid as I cannot pay a facility fee for every outpatient appointment. Also, very frustrating that they want me to sign consent to this fee without telling me what the fee would be. Then was told that I may be charged a cancelation fee for rescheduling the appointment that I could not afford. All of this after paying $7500 for an ear tube surgery that lasted 5 months before the tubes popped out. Forget getting a hold of anyone at billing to set up a payment plan as no one picks up the phone.

They took good care of our son while at the ER. Unfortunately he had to be admitted and they had no rooms so we had to get transferred.

I usually love this place and I know they are very low staff last I knew and I’ve come here for all my children and my 5 year old has came here and had a few surveys with them but I’ve been waiting for my November 1st appointment since April and the construction and garage and valet parking are insane I was here at 1015 for my 1030 appointment and apparently that’s not enough time because of how insane parking is and traffic and I did valet thinking it’s better and faster than garage so I know they give a ten minute late ok but I was 1043 and they turned me away and said now we have to wait till end of December or cancellation list and I know that won’t happen cause I was on cancellation list since April, I’m also coming from a 40 minute drive and took work off for this appointment so for them not to take us because of 3/4 minutes is very frustrating and makes me wanna find a new doctor now, oh and also elevators are broken as well so even those were a long line!!!!
