Robert C. Siudmak, MD, FACOG

 2.9
Hollywood, 3801 Hollywood Blvd #250, Hollywood, FL 33021

If you’re looking for a top-tier OB-GYN in South Florida who actually treats you like a person and not just a chart number, you really can't do better than Dr. Robert C. Siudmak. Located right on Hollywood Blvd, his office has been a staple in our community for decades. What’s truly wild is that he’s been around long enough to deliver the babies of the babies he delivered years ago—it’s a total "second generation" practice! That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident; it’s because he genuinely cares about the women in this town.

One of the biggest perks of seeing Dr. Siudmak is his approach to childbirth. He’s a huge advocate for the natural process and is well-known for his expertise in VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). He keeps his C-section rates impressively low, which is a huge relief for moms-to-be who want a "caring coach" in the delivery room rather than just a surgeon. Whether it’s a high-risk pregnancy or a routine check-up, you get the sense that he’s always looking for the most conservative, effective treatment first.

The office atmosphere itself is another reason locals keep coming back. It’s professional but has a warm, family-like vibe that makes those sometimes-stressful appointments a lot easier to handle. His team is super friendly and efficient, so you aren't stuck sitting in the waiting room forever. Plus, the location at 3801 Hollywood Blvd #250 is easy to get to, with a clean, peaceful environment that feels more like a wellness center than a cold medical clinic.

Beyond maternity care, Dr. Siudmak offers advanced treatments like the MonaLisa Touch for women’s wellness, which shows he’s staying on the cutting edge even with over 40 years of experience. He’s board-certified and highly respected at Memorial Regional and Aventura Hospital, so you know you're in the best hands. It’s the kind of place where you can ask a thousand questions and he’ll take the time to answer every single one without rushing you out the door.

We are forever grateful to Dr. Siudmak for saving our lives! When a very rare and life-threatening complication arose late in my pregnancy, Dr Siudmak acted quickly, calmly, and with such skill. My baby was delivered safely and is now thriving. We are both here today because of him. Thank you!

Dr. Siudmak is a wonderful doctor, but the contradictory and unlawful policy has me forced to restart care. Patients please be advised you are not required to agree with conflicting policies that fail to align with law. I have every intent to pursue legal action for their policy putting my health care at risk. Go to a doctor's office that focus on healthcare and not greed.

This office also operates under Mira Health. Extremely disappointed. I paid $400 for a yearly membership that was supposed to provide after-hours access to the doctor and the doctor’s direct contact information, neither of which I ever received or used.

When I enrolled, Kimberly specifically told me I could request a refund within 30 days, which I did well within that period. Despite following their instructions and never using the service, Mira Health refused to issue a refund.

It’s incredibly unfair and unethical to take advantage of pregnant women who are in a vulnerable and anxious state, just wanting timely care and reassurance. The way they structure their memberships and refund process feels predatory and deceptive.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this service to think twice. Once they have your money, they will not honor their own refund policy. Go somewhere else where the doctors and medical staff care about your well being and not a "membership".

Let me start by saying that the day after being seen by this physician at the hospital (after 29 weeks of pregnancy under the care of his office), he told me he was never there and he hadn't seen me. His age is showing in his memory loss, just as it did a second time when he prescribed me an anti hypertensive medicine
DIFFERENT from the one that was discussed at my appointment. With respect to a diagnosis of complete previa in the anterior position, he very nonchalantly told me he would have to "eviscerate" the placenta to access the baby in what he ultimately detailed as a blood bath; despite my expressing concern over the temporary cutting off of the baby's oxygen supply, he noted no other surgical incision options to avoid cutting through the placenta until my further inquiries weeks later.
Ultimately, he is a long time OBGYN who loves to remind you repeatedly of his number of years of experience and who gives zero deference to alternatives because he is set in his ways. There were times where it seemed I asked too many questions and his reaction was to essentially 'set me straight' as with a child by a parent.
At the end of the day he was a poor match for me, though I'm sure he resonates well with plenty of others who aren't as in need of information or clarity.

Edit: in response to this review, I was (understandably) dropped from the practice at 31 weeks pregnant, BUT before having an appointment for alternate care and with two high risk conditions; what gets me more is that although I had HIGH REGARD for Siudmak’s partner, Dr. Naomi Ufberg, and had hoped to switch to being under her care after interacting with her twice as an on-call physician, I was also told, as a result of this review, that I could not be seen by her.

Hollywood Office- I’m honestly not sure how he has a 4.7 rating. This review is 5 years late, but the experience has stayed with me. I was a first-time mom with a high-risk pregnancy, and it was the worst medical experience I’ve ever had.

I experienced bleeding and went to the hospital. I was sent in and out of labor and delivery twice. The final time they sent me home, I was still in severe pain, and knew something wasn’t right. When I called his office, they insisted it wasn’t necessary for me to return to the hospital. I told them I’m coming down to the office instead, because I was in extreme agony. I was in the waiting room for a while crying in pain. Instead of helping (mind you an office full of women) they moved me to a back office (not even an examination room) to avoid disturbing other patients.

Not one person, tried to comfort me or help me understand that this was labor I was experiencing. There was no sense of urgency at all.

Despite hearing Dr Siudmak go in and out of rooms seeing others, he never checked on me. When he finally did, he realize I was already 4cm dilated and then started acting with some urgency and told me to get to the hospital immediately.

During delivery, the nurses were the ones who truly cared and supported me. Dr. Siudmak seemed inconvenienced to be there, even saying he had patients waiting at his office. My husband was looking away during labor, and when baby was here and he offered my husband to cut the umbilical cord, my husband didn’t see or hear him and he just shrugged in a dismissive, uncaring way.

I would never recommend him. This experience will stay with me forever. I wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely no compassion, empathy, care, or respect.
