I got an eye surgery there and it was amazing they let me bring my stuffed dinosaur and it was amazing. The nurses were very comforting to me. I liked my experience very much. I remember asking for mashed potato for my anestehtic smell but they laughed and said they did not have it. So I got birthday cake instead. After my surgery I ended up getting mashed potatoes. I love this place very much it is an amazing place and I love it so much.

Every day brings new excitement and more healthIDONTCARE. After coming in for a relatively minor issue, the patient was on a regular floor where his condition deteriorated so badly he had to be transferred to the ICU. While on the regular floor, doctors had no ideas nor a plan for care other than to give drugs and wait and see.

We were hopeful the experience would be better in the ICU. It was not; many promises were made with no follow up. We've spoken to risk management who assured us there would be action and there is no follow up. Doctors perform procedures and ignore the restrictions placed on the procedure, which were normal and easily done and no body came to explain why. Questions are looked down upon, many times ignored.

It seems Riley is just an IU Health facility, with only one connection to the Riley of the past and that's the name. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't bother going there with a skin rash, let alone something complex.

I do believe the doctors might not be as bad as they appear; I know many systems are placing restrictions on their providers making care impossible. IU Health isn't unique in this regard but do happen to be awful at Riley.

Honestly I’d give half a star if I could, my child was there for 90 days after his accident 5 days in his doctor at the time wanted to give him an answer by a certain day to give him our choice wasn’t happening though not only that but some of the staff were not the greatest causing his mother to be removed for 24 hours for thee most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life wasn’t till after we had been moved things were getting a little better but still nothing to brag about but like everywhere you go you have your good and bad employees.

I reached out to them after being referred regarding my son who has a skeletal dysplasia. We live in KY & no doctors are willing to touch him. My son is 3 & is in a wheelchair because no doctors here are willing to preform the surgeries needed in order for him to walk because they’re not familiar with his syndrome, femoral facial syndrome. The woman that is responsible for scheduling over the pediatric orthopedic department needs to be fired or be re-trained on how to speak to people. ROXY IS THE RUDEST WOMAN I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Absolutely disgusting. My sons doctor sent over 2 referrals and this woman got so nasty with me saying they were never sent. I understand things get lost when being faxed - but the nasty attitude & nasty dialog is absolutely uncalled for. Because our insurance is in KY & not in Indiana, Roxy refused to see us. Stating we would have to pay a ridiculous out of pocket fee when she “doesn’t even know if they treat that syndrome” I was under the impression Riley children’s treats children who are disabled/sick without worrying about a bill??? That’s what the commercials on tv say right??? This woman said “well then you need to go to a local hospital” which shows she pays absolutely NO attention to the things people are saying to her. I work in healthcare myself and this woman needs to be fired.

I watched an interview of how this hospital allowed a sex change and it went terribly wrong. It was all experimental. Please be careful. They are completely ignoring the patient and trying to deny any accountability. What a disgusting place! They don't care about you!

Riley(Dowtown) ER is completely distasteful on 11/5/2023. Was told my child case was not an emergency & proceeds to have us wait over 3hrs in the waiting room. My baby was breathing rapidly , stomach caving in & no one cared. Many ppl going before us that came after us. Dirty floors , trash , & snacks on the floor. Receptionist and RN did not carry the values of health care. Terrible , terrible , terrible. Went to another ER & was admitted & currently still in the ER.

Just watched the case of Briana Ivy, a transgender woman born male. Parents, please, let your kids be kids until 18! And armed yourselves with knowledge. Keep an eye for establishments that would rather have money, recognition, and accolades other than doing what's right for their patients. Justice for Briana!

The Agostino Family that sponsor’s this hospital are Luciferian’s. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Dr. Michael Agostino removed my septum and replaced it with a foreign material and fabricated surgical notes to validate his hate crime. He premiditated a surgery with his surgical staff to mangle my inner face. He heard a fabricated story and has committed attempted murder. When I asked him why he did this to me? He said, “God works in mysterious ways”. He also said, “ I would not want to reward bad behavior”. He is a sociopath. Satan disguised himself as an Angel of light.

Wiped all medical records of Briana Ivy's. Disgusting what they are doing to children and trauma they are causing. Hopsitals are meant to help others heal, not ruin lives.
