- The place is not in the aeroport but here are shuttle busses to take you there. The process of getting the car is not complicated. You get the exact car you booked. Waiting time about 10min. Dropp off was very fast. Just park and leave the keys in the car. Just remember to fill the tank and leave the receipts in the car

LAX Avis is a mess. I had to wait outside in the cold for 20 minutes until they showed me the car. The car interior was dirty. I found out they gave me the wrong car when I returned it. With all the fees, it’s almost 40% extra.

Great experience at the LAX location, service was fast, professional out of hassle and drama, the vehicle was in pristine condition and to make things complete, at the return facility at PSP airport, it only took me 2 minutes, awesome, of course I will use Avis on my next and future car rental needs.

2-3 hour wait to get our vehicle. Over 100 people in line (and dozens more continually streaming in), but only 5 customer service reps. Not the way we envisioned spending our first few hours in California on vacation.

One star is being generous. 4 hour queue to pick up my rental on Xmas day meant I missed Xmas dinner with my family. Great job guys. Well done!

Abhorrent service. Buses drove past us in terminal 5 for an hour we had to find a new non avid way to the rental center. The management said the buses get full at earlier terminals so they’ll never actually pick up at terminal 5! And the phone number in the reservation and google both don’t work. Horrid way to conduct a business.

For how terrible LAX airport is, Avis preferred made up for the airport experience.
I hope to never have to go through LAX, again, but if I do, I'll make sure to get my car from Avis. The customer service was excellent and I had no issues with pick up or drop off. Good attitude and smiles even during the stressful holiday season!
