Had a problem with a car I got from a different Avis station and arrived 10 minutes after closure. They opened the door back up to help me and resolve the problem :)

Avis is located in the lobby of the NARA Financial Center Building on Wilshire Blvd between Normandie Ave & Western Ave.

Paid my rental car months in advance. When i got to the place, they just didn’t have any car for me. The guy told me that i should call Avis and fix the problem mysefl or go to LAX.

Their whole business is to schedule and deliver cars, is not that hard. If you have car problems at least contact the costumer before, don’t wait for the costumer to arrive with bags.

Couple disappointing things, firstly the security fellow turned me away from the building car park two times, despite the Avis receptionist asking me (two times) to pull the car into the lot. Got all fussy telling me to leave, and ended up needing the receptionist to come out to open the gate. Odd. Secondly, received a sizeable additional fee, which I will need to investigate, no heads up, and the email receipt just says “non package items”. Also weird. Be careful to confirm price prior, and, maybe select a different Avis nearby without the fussy weird security man to save you some time and energy.
