TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

So my partner and I had our little one here. I liked the experience even with people saying it’s ghetto and to go to white memorial. The place has a lot of negative reviews too for the ER which takes forever anywhere imo. But yea the labor and delivery staff was super nice and I took the car seat class which was hella helpful and they offered lactation classes since it’s a pro breast feeding hospital. Did not feel unwelcome. The room was nice. It was just hard to get sleep when they wake you up for all the meds. They accepted her decision for no epi which was honored. Only was one nurse who pushed it but we said no. The staff we had was super helpful but I know it can be alot for them so be nice and they’re nice. Thanks to all.

A few years ago I was in ER,after a couple hours of waiting I was treated for the BEST TEAM OF DOCTORS AND NURSES.Hopefully still giving the best service.Keep it up.

We have spent a great deal of time at LAC+USC Medical Center, It is a facility equipped with State of the Art Medical apparatus with Excellent Personnel from Nurses, Doctors to support employees. We were Diagnosed, treated accurately and on our way to recovery. The hired security destroys the good image of the institution, the long waits along with the lack of parking facilities are characteristic of a saturated facility. My wife and I are grateful of the Medical and professional treatment we are receiving.

You have the worst customer service. I had to call 3 times to ask a question. First one hung up on me, second tried to fight me and the third, was barely helpful. Awful. I’m calling to check on a family member from across the country. Your people couldn’t even do their job. Disgrace

Apparantly you can buy a better rating on Google. When I left this review 2 weeks ago.. you had a 1.7

I called again today, and got the same rude girl from last time.. congrats

To provide world-class care is a false statement after living an ordeal in this medical facility. It is true that LA General Medical Center does not restrict, limit, or otherwise deny admission to their facility, clinical care, but how staff or registration personnel treat patients or people is preposterous.
For example, a gentleman who was already registered and was check for vitals, was requesting for a blanket and someone to take him to the restroom. He requested in good manners to one of the ladies at the entrance and very rudely she reply to him, "hold on...I am busy". Patient just needed an extra blanket since the a/c was blowing too cold in that area of the lobby. She just could said, "I will be right with you, let me call someone", but no. Then she told him "if you need to go why don't you just go and walk..." The gentleman is a paraplegic and was sitting on the chair after his vitals were checked by another nurse.
I had to go to the Staff windows and request for him a blanket, which the staff denied to him due to the rules, ask for the Administrator, supervisor, and office location. In addition, I went to my vehicle and gave him my work jacket for him to be warm while he was waiting for a long time for the doctors. Few minutes later a male nurse showed up and help him, but the response time from the staff to the nurse was outrageous and the words used by the staff lady was inappropriate, rude knowing the circumstances of the patient.
I went to LAC-USC to take my stepson for an abdominal pain and arriving at 7:19pm of Thursday night. We were very amazed by the Medical members on how promptly to care of my son after waiting for 10 hours (5:38am of Friday). My son was discharged by 7:55am and for our surprise, the gentleman was still in the same chair, same position, same location.
I am a United States Air Force veteran with a Degree in Network Administration from Texas University, travel the world and making a difference for everybody and I have NEVER, EVER seen this lack of professionalism from any Hospital or Medical Facility. It is imperative to add changes to the Admission staff at the Emergency Room with education on protocols, ethics, and professionalism so they can provide a real sense of your own codes of value (Teamwork, Accountable, Trust, Compassion) to patients or people and treat them with dignity.
Thanks.
