New Shore (North Shore) Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare's Florida region, is a 357-bed general acute care hospital located at 1100 NW 95 in Miami. The hospital has served members of its community for more than 59 years. North Shore Medical Center offers a wide range of services, including 24-hour urgent care with Fast Track services, birthing centers, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and mental health services. The hospital also has specialty centers, including the C. Gordon Griffith Cancer Center, an intensive care unit, a wound care center, a sleep disorder center and a nursing center.
From 2006-2010 North Shore Medical Center has consistently won American Heart Association program achievement awards. The hospital received a Silver Award for Stroke and a Silver Plus Award for Heart Failure. North Shore Medical Center was the recipient of the 2012 Healthgrades Clinical Excellence in Disease Nursing Award. For its maternity services, North Shore Medical Center has received a five-star clinical excellence rating from Healthgrades.
North Shore Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Evaluation and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accrediting agency.

- I just gave birth to my second baby here and I was blown away by how wonderful the treatment was. From the moment I came into the L&D triage nurse Yas was very attentive and communicating to me everything that was happening. Charge Nurse Emily was also very sweet and made sure we were comfortable and ready for having our baby. My delivery was smooth and everyone respected my husband and my wishes. The nurses on the post partum unit were also very sweet and attentive. Id like to thank Natalia, Natasha, and Joanne for the wonderful care! I would deliver here again because of them. Thank you to everyone for making my second birth perfect.

I had such a nice experience from the moment I checked in with a pleasant and polite register, and the team (nurses, anesthesiologist, doctor, etc) who were in charge of my surgical procedure there. - I had a great experience at North Shore Medical Center and with Dr. Sabrine Semoin. The laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) went as expected. The hospital staff was amazing, from the nurses to the anesthesiologist, and her team explained all details and what to expect before, during and after surgery. My recovery time was shorter and less painful than expected. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and its staff. I have to give a special thanks to the nurse Hugette for her bedside manner. She calmed my nerves and removed the apprehension I had about the physical appearance of the hospital and its outdated decir. The people here are what makes the place shine.
