Hertz Car Rental - Miami International Airport

My all time rental company.love them and will always use them.Staff courteous and welcoming.Great price and bargains on rentals.

Was sceptical about using this branch due to the bad reviews but this was actually the best experience I've ever had from a rental place! Got myself ready for a long queue but there were no other customers when I arrived (and when I returned) - I'd filled out the free gold member info beforehand so the guy actually told me I didn't need to speak to anyone anyway. My name was on a board with where my car was, I got in, switched it on and basically drove out. Easiest experience ever. Car was great.

I don't understand why it takes 90 minutes to check in 8 people. The slowness of this process in 2023 is staggering. Not sure what the bottleneck is but it really needs so change. Find a better way.

Drop offwas very pleasant. The guys working there were great. Its just checkin that is still in the dark ages.

honestly had a smooth process renting a full-size SUV with hertz at the airport (i live locally) and at first, i was a little scared about my reservation based on the bad reviews i saw on google but i came christmas day at 8pm & the line moved up pretty quickly, i had reserved the car a month in advance & was surprised, the counter lady did my paperwork pretty quick & the car itself (ford expedition) was pretty nice, had a few bumps/dents & broken things but that’s pretty normal with rentals, that’s the only reason i give them 4 stars instead of 5, just cause i think they should do a bit more of maintenance in the cars and/or when they turn in a car to customers they should give a paper stating the issues with the car so that when we return the car we’re not blamed for previous damages (i had to ask the exiting rep to please give me a sheet noting these things), but overall a great experience!

Incompetent, rude, and outright disrespectful staff.

Our experience here was so atrocious we are never using Hertz again. Not only did we have to wait over 40 minutes in line we also were met by some of the rudest staff at any rental agency ever. Their incompetency cost us our reservation and rather than apologizing or fixing THEIR mistake they began accusing me and my family of fraud.

If it were up to me I’d fire everyone at the counter and reconsider who they hire and how they train them.
