Dr. Andres was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. After seeing the fulfillment his brother had in his work as a dentist, Dr. Amaya decided to embark on a similar career path. He admired the opportunity to improve people's lives as well as the artistic qualities of dentistry. After completion of his initial training in Colombia, he moved to the US where he has been practicing for over 15 years — he has worked in Miami for over a decade. Dr. Amaya is passionate about continuing education and attends conferences and classes on a frequent basis in order to keep his skills sharp. In Dr. Amaya’s chair you can always count on a caring experience and to learn something new about dentistry and how to care for your smile!

Our team comes from a diverse set of backgrounds, but we all share a common passion for serving our community. We have raised funds and participated in walks for the Cancer Foundation for Children and St. Jude Hospital. Our teams in Miami and Pembroke Pines have strong ties to those communities, and we enjoy spending time together outside of the offices making a positive impact on children and families health and wellness. We love hearing what our patients are passionate about and are always looking for new ways for our team to give back, so we can consistently invest in our community and care for the next generation.
