I can’t recommend Miami Women’s Health Associates enough. They accepted me as a patient late in my first pregnancy after I realized my previous OBGYN was not going to be a fit as they were not respectful of my birth choices (limited to no intervention). I selected Dr. Duarte as my doctor based on a recommendation, and he was absolutely the best. His approach in the office is the same as during ‘game day’- calm, deliberate, thoughtful of the patient, explaining everything in a clear way. He was my coach as well as doctor when he helped me deliver my son. Moreover the entire office is actually friendly and helpful and you can reach them by phone. Dr. Gari practices similar to Dr. Duarte and is also friendly and knowledgeable. I am staying here as a patient long as possible. Great team all around.

Absolutely recommend this practice! Dr. Duarte and Dr. Gari have been incredibly supportive and attentive throughout my pregnancy and Dr. Duarte made the delivery stress free, easy and quick.
Our experience with Mercy Hospital was extremely positive-the nurses and staff are amazing and the location(oh, the view) can’t beat that. Thank you!

I’m happy to have Dr Duarte as my OB doctor. This is my first pregnancy so I had a lot of questions. Dr Duarte explained everything in details and made sure we know what to do next. The entire office is very welcoming and I feel in good hands.

Bad experience with this office. Beware of the “5 star” reviews that do not paint accurate picture of this practice. I have to say the lady who draws blood is probably the most genuine person in this office. Front office staff are not polite and for the ones who put on smiles it is the most fake smiles you will soon Come to realize if you are lucky enough to uncover the scams of this office. They are money hungry and do not genuinely care for their patients. In the 6 visits during my pregnancy my visits were about 2 minutes long checking your blood pressure and heart rate of baby with tools you can find in Walgreens.Their ultrasounds measure length and weight of baby and that is it. Are the doctors polite, sure.clean office-yes! Are the visits impersonal, and not throrough- absolutely! I kept telling my self at least this is my second pregnancy and not my first! I would be mortified. So this practice has this “policy” where the doctor is required to be paid $2350 by 33 weeks as they explained to me because my insurance doesn’t cover that. After speaking to my insurance and other doctors they advised me that I should not be paying this upfront that when I deliver my insurance pays and if/ when there is a difference then I pay. On my 33 week visit the office manager had an uncomfortable meeting and insinuated especially because I was an “immigrant” they require the money upfront in case I leave the country. Mind you I have insurance plus I am naturalising into a US resident— this comment immediately turned me off of this office and I knew I would rather a complete stranger deliver me that these people! I called her a week later and told her I made the decision to not continue seeing this office and she proceeds to tell me that I have to pay upfront $1000 for my last 5 visits! Lol that I am completely covered 100% with my insurance! She tried to give me some bull story so after hours back and forth with my insurance they told me that this office hadn’t submitted any claims for my last 5 visits yet they were asking me to pay upfront for it? Why? Was it they wanted to get double paid by me the 1000$ upfront then file my claims to the insurance and also get paid? Frauds! I called the insurance and the person was appalled by this said they do NOT tolerate providers who engage in this level of dishonestly with patients and blame the insurance! I felt compelled to write this review because initially I chose this office based on their google reviews however apart from having to find a new doctor at 34 weeks pregnant and the stress of dealing with this office I hope it helps somebody else make a more informed decision when choosing their obgyn.

Super satisfied, they are the best doctors, they treat you with love and are attentive to you at all times. 100% recommended.
