I was sold a Samsung Fold 4 at full retail price. Only to find out that the global variant and the EU variants are the only variants that can be fully unlocked. Samsung support assured me I could return the device without issue and had issue. I ended up eating the $50 return fee. Best buy employees assured me I could take it to any network. *face palm* Yes the device is network unlocked but the actual device and software on the device is permanently LOCKED. Their employees are obviously not passionate about what their selling, i got deer in the headlights.

IN SUMMARY
Best Buy has compromised it's values for profits and staying AFLOAT. Thinking that Amazon philosophy will save their losses during the past few years

1. on their 5th CEO. By by Jolly
2. Have to purchase a min of $70 every month to get the value for your NEW yearly fee.
3. Tech repairs out of Kentucky or Tennessee, so there's no real benefit to their protection vs the fact they extend their warranty offer upon purchase.
4. Debit and cash purchases "DO NOT COUNT" Must pay with BB credit card or sign up to get the value

Not one single employee knows any information about a product unless they use their phone to look it up. I talked to three different employees.
