- we LOVE the Pork Ribs Plate, made the way ribs are supposed to be made, IMO: already sauced up. Wash your face and change your shirt when you're done sauced up. Potato Salad and Cole Slaw were also excellent tasting
- Driving through Montgomery, this restaurant was out only stop. While it is not located in the fanciest part of town, our family was so happy we stopped. (Carry out Only) We were greeted by the great granddaughters of the original owners, and her friendliness was the best part of Alabama! It was close to closing time and she could not have been more gracious. We tried the fish sandwich, fish platter, chicken sandwich, chopped pork sandwich and plate, nothing was fancy, but it was so so good. The seasonings were perfect and the serving sizes huge. The fish has the bones in it, just like she warned us so know that ahead. The BBQ has a lot of finger licking good sauce, but it's a lot not your dry rub variety. Side dishes were amazing! Potato salad, fries and baked beans-. Yummy! We would definitely stop again! Thank you for your hospitality Brenda's!
