Dr. Viplove Senadhi was bred in an academic medicine environment. His father was a doctor at UAB and through a joint venture with NASA, discovered gamma interferon as well as coenzyme Q. He followed in his father's footsteps and received 7 awards from the NIH as well as from Temple University School of Medicine for accomplishments in biomedical research, which led him to the Andrea Pearlman award, given to the Valedictorian of clinical sciences. This was a platform for going to medical school in LA, and subsequently, pursuing internal medicine at one of the Johns Hopkins internal medicine programs. He published over 25 first author articles as a resident and served as a peer reviewer and
editor for many of the top Gastroenterology journals, prior to his fellowship. He won an ACP national research award and this led him to be selected for the Dean Craig Brater scholarship at the Indiana University Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship program, where he worked hand-in-hand with numerous leaders in the field throughout a variety of areas in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. TOP important and interesting reviews from patients
- Dr. Senadhi is the best he has always been able to get a hold of and he will return calls promptly. He has worked so hard find out what is going on with me and with all his work has paid off if not for the dedication he has I wouldn't be feeling this good.I thank him for all that he has done for me, I haven't felt this good in a long time. I recommend him to all my family and friends
- During a routine ultrasound, Dr. Senadhi's team found a kidney mass and jumped into action sending me to a urologist. Without them, I may not have found the cancer until it was too late. I also used to be nauseous all the time. They have helped me with so many different GI issues. Best GI I've ever been too.
- Dr.Viplove Senadhi is one of a kind. He has a gift from God for healing. He takes the time to talk to his patients and makes sure they understand his diagnosis and discusses in great detail his plan for treatment and to make them comfortable. He does not rush the discussion and explains in great detail about his plans for improving their health and overall well-being. Dr.Senadhi isn't in medicine to make money and NEVER turns someone away in need of his services regardless if they can self pay, have insurance or no insurance.
I am blessed to be his patient and he diagnosed me with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Because of how he is respected by his piers I was being seen and having a procedure in Birmingham with his colleague because it was Thanksgiving 2020 and he was not in town. He has personally selected all of my team of doctors to include Birmingham, UAB, the Mayo Clinic and has sent my records ALL over the world seeking the best treatment available for stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was told 6 months and I am still here going strong and feeling great because of his care and expertise. My mother was his first patient in Montgomery and we have been friends and now he oversees my treatments. I am still alive because of him.
