TOP important and interesting reviews from patients

I absolutely was impressed by the level of caring I received in the ER. Dr. Cassell went over and above to find me an eye doctor when there wasn’t one on staff. All the nurses were so friendly and helpful and did such a great job telling me what was going on each step of my visit. All the steps of my treatment happened expeditiously. I was so pleased!

Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. The prep and surgical team were amazing. The doctor was one of the best all around that I have ever had. I've never been treated better at any other hospital.

The nurses in triage did a good job of getting me seen quickly (within 45min of arrival) due to my condition. The ER physician ordered all necessary tests/scans and got a diagnosis within 4 hours. I was in surgery within 8 hours of my arrival. All of the preop, PACU, and floor nurses were excellent. Very happy and thankful for the care I received. Only complaint is 3 of the 4 patient elevators were down when we were trying to be discharge and that has apparently been an ongoing issue.

I was just in this hospital for my excruciating back pain, all down my legs and up my back. They triaged me, took my blood and did a CT. I was hopeful. Should not have been. I then sat in the waiting room for 3 hours where others had been there for 6+ and still hadn’t been seen. I finally just left because it was causing me more pain to sit there, they had me sign a paper that stated I was seen by a physician even though I hadn’t. I will never step foot in this hospitals ER again

I must say I’ve been blessed to experience some of the best care hands down! I truly appreciate everyone that cared for me and made sure I was comfortable and receiving what I needed to regain my health. Shout out to the staff for their hard work and dedication. These staff showed exemplary kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you Nurse Madison, Tech John, Dr Wong, Nurse McKenzie, Phleb Michelle, Maintenance, Nurse Leslie, Housekeeping Mrs Jackie, Nurse Gracie, Tech A Sweet young lady that wore gold( I apologize I can’t remember your name), Phleb Angela, Nurse Suze, Tech Jordan, Dr Wang and everyone else who aided me to recovery. I truly appreciate you all and hope your lights continue to shine in many lives as it did in mine. I hope this hospital recognizes the excellent staff on the 4th floor in ICU! Thank you guys so much! Continue to be a blessing!!

I thought southern hills was bad, but this place was crazy, my mom was there 40 days the day she had surgery had 2/3 of her stomach removed we brought her home today they never came with a wheel chair she walked and wasn’t able but telling them something oh it’s always we’re short staff well i stayed 4 nights with my mom after surgery we had 2 nurses that were good and one of those that was her last day the other was from Alabama she was a travel nurse she worked circles around those others not one time did they come in to walk her or do any therapy so now we’re sitting at 3 weeks after surgery and she’s needing chemo they haven’t sent the referral just like they did t work hard to get her into a rehab place so here we are trying to do our best at home with not being able to get home health or a dr apt till Monday or Tues next week.. i will never let my mom go back here or none of my family . This is suppose to be the best but if you needed anything you had to go get it and they wouldn’t come in at night besides one time they give them meds to knock them out then the desk they go to giggle and laugh and play around .. i hope nobody ever gets the same treatment as my mom . I haven’t even figured out what all is going on myself . So if you get a choice don’t go there.. you will never see the same nurse in 30 time period so each nurse works over at least 45 mins at shift change just to know about the patient we almost lost her and still not out of the woods didn’t even send her pain meds home . I could go on and on

not only did they not give us a room but we sat and watched the nurses in doctor do nothing from a gurney in the hallway. They didn’t feel out half of the paperwork. came in with a swollen ankle. They gave us gauze and told us to wrap it ourselves. they ran out of crutches and boots. they didn’t prescribe any pain medication and made of walk out with foot pain. do not recommend!!!

My grandfather has been there almost a week. no one comes to the room, no water/ice, case management hasn’t updated their chart in three days, the nurse said there was only aide on the floor so low staffing, the nursing home can’t get ahold of anyone by phone. It really needs some management.

Customer service is in the toilet! My 86 year old mother was discharged 11/13/23 after being traumatized due to neglect and isolation. To add insult to injury, my instructions were to pick up moms prescriptions from the the pharmacy that I gave them
Got there, no prescriptions called in. I called the hospital nurses station on her floor, explained what happened, was placed on hold. Meantime, after 40 min, pharmacy closed so mom missed her medication. Got home 1 1/2 hours later, still on hold and called back the hospital back on another number. The head nurse Shavonie asked if I was the customer holding... go figure! She claimed she left a message with the Dr's office to call in our prescriptions. During my visit on Saturday our pregnant nurse didn't come in the room for 3 hours, had to look for her. The nursing staff walk around like the living dead with no regard for human life. Guess they are all there to merely collect a pay check. They wrecked moms room daily, with debris on the floors, counters, everywhere. What are trash cans used for? I will never let anyone take me or mom family to Centennial Medical Center Nashville! Absolutely pathetic and I would not even recommend them to a animal. I gave a 2 star because Dr Ried and nurse Jessica were the saving grace.

We had to come to Centennial due to a family member being in ICU. He was not treated appropriately the first time and ended up back here within 6 days of being released. He's currently not stable and they cannot figure out why, after two days, his blood pressure won't regulate. Health care questions aside, I've never been to a medical facility with such filthy restrooms. The women's room was dirty and smelled. It makes me question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Restrooms are a basic of facility maintenance.... Basic
